Great to hear your on the mend, it’s very hard to tell a farmer to take it easy but you must rest up till your fully better mate. Now’s the time to call in all those old favours 😉. Mind yourself 👍
My grandfather and uncle both had massive heartattacks and died both had enlarged hearts on post mortem you are lucky enough to have had a warning they didn't!
i lost a farming colleague to a hart attack a month ago right before potato planting season and our accountant said they knew 4 other farmers that had died or had a hart attack. something out there is causing hart problems. stay safe and healthy
I’m unvaccinated 32 male and I had COVID and it was horrible but I got better quickly and friends my age and younger that have had the vaccine have all had long COVID symptoms!

Glad you are on the mend Richard 👍 People are quick to criticise our NHS sadly. It’s only when you need to use it that you realise how fantastic our nurses and doctors are and the care they provide.
Hello Richard, so glad you’re on the road to a full recovery. I lost my dad to a heart attack. I can only hope your video highlights the need for people to get their symptoms checked out at the earliest opportunity and not just dismiss them as you and he did. The NHS ARE amazing, but they’re not miracle workers when people become blasé about their health and leave things until the last minute. Richard I am happy that you did not have a heart attack. I really wish I was located close enough to come and help out. My sons have everything covered here anymore. I should remember which end of a cow to hook the milkers on, only milked for the first 38 years of my life. LOL As for the viruses going around. I think there are many different ones and they effect different people differently. Lost some good friends to them and had others get over them will little to no trouble. I also think we farmers, tend to try and tough it on through an end up not getting the rest needed for a good recovery. So you need take it easy and get rested up so you feeling better.

Hi Richard, get well soon. 18 years ago when i had my heart attack it was my birthday ,and like you the trust gave me a cake, but the nurses said i could not have any seeing as i had just had a heart attack , so thgey ate it instead, think i had the rough deal there!!! Any way rich take it easy and look after yourself.

Chin up Richard . Like you videos. Had some time in NHS care in 2019 when I fell off ladder. Had nearly a month in hospital the care was brilliant along with the after care 7 1/2 months later got my wellies on and made it back to work on the farm . Small steps are better than 1 big day you can get there 💪

I could see you were really struggling, being an ex farmer you can tell! My future son in law had exactly what you have got, I thought you were describing him! Haha like you he is on ibuprofen as his heart was inflamed too. I wish you a speedy recovery and keep on farming.

Having had a heart attack some years ago and being helicoptered in to hospital, I can only agree about the NHS - wonderful people! It makes you realize what is important in life. I slowed down a bit for a while but I soon got back to being busy and, according to my wife, doing too much. Get well soon!
Bless you Richard take it easy not good to hear I had a stroke last February and not the man I used to be my walking and daily routine and activities is really still limited still can't walk far without needing to sit down I know how you feel my friend I worked on a farm for 16 years until I was taking ill not only have I had a stroke but had major lung surgery march 2020 and only 35 years off age still very weak but I keep do few daily routine and activities but unfortunately the doctor will not let me return to work yet I just wish I lived nearby I would give you a hand with anything even if it did kill me because you a one true gentleman who we can never can for best regards hopefully you feel better soon Craig whitmore Warwickshire

Now Richard You are a lucky guy !!! I have had 2 heart attacks but I am back working BUT !!! I now work a bit more sensible. You still have a full life ahead of you. And get on with it. However, don’t give the Negative Though People a millisecond of your time. You have two fine Sons a lovely wife a brother and your farm. As you easy back into the farm work. Think on how you can Do your work a bit more cleverly. You are not a machine !!! I know there will be costs. But it’s worth it in the end. Love to all and keep safe
