Wizard's First Rule - Trailer HD [LotS]

- I only used Legend of the Seeker footages to create a Wizard's First Rule trailer that follows the book's storyline. I tried to use scenes from the show that could substitute or replace scenes from the book as much as I could, but of course it still needs some additional imagination from the viewers too. I didn't want to use scenes from other movies so I had to leave the Mud People and Scarlett out.
The chronology of the scenes is not exact because of the structure of the trailer.
I hope you like it!
Wizard's First Rule, written by Terry Goodkind, is the first book in the epic fantasy series The Sword of Truth.
Legend of the Seeker is based on Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. - Фільми й анімація
This is inspiration to keep fighting to bring back legend of the seeker. Thank you for making this video.
Goosebumps!!! Loved it, very clear storyline. Makes me miss the show so much.
"Wizard's First Rule: people are stupid." Richard and Kahlan frowned even more. "People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool."--From the novel WIZARD'S FIRST RULE by Terry Goodkind

I wish they would make a movie!!! Jeremy Renner as Richard, Evangelene Lilly as Kahlan and maybe Patrick Steward as Zedd! How amazing would that be??
there is ...i dont know how they call it but im seeing currently in Italy in station Spike...give it with serials every night...its beautiful. they call it here LA SPADA DE LA VERITA...
I agree with movie but it should be same cast. No changes.
I think the show is great in its own it just doesn’t have much in common with the books
M’y favourite book series ever
this is beautiful! Makes me want to reread the first book!
It was a great read! Spend all day reading the last bit it had me on the edge of my seat!
Netflix should add this series on their list.
wish the show had been done right. This video was 10x better than the actual show. Maybe one day they will do it right.
Thanks for making this. Read them as they 1st came out and was happy, then sad a series came to shit on it.
Very well done!!!
Wizard's First Rule: People will believe a lie because they want it to be true. Or because their afraid it might be true.
Great! Waiting for next rule :)
In the book cover, of this book, she was wearing a FULL white dress.
I can make the pictures, but the cover's dress was full, no black.
This looks so much better than the series turned out. I'm glad you made this. They should have let you make the series.

BEST TRAILER I HAVE EVER SEEN!
This could have been epic.
Could have been? Wasn't this show epic? :/
@@Haddomne not compared to the books.
The best
"Ahren Adema Chessed Darkrender."
The series is good if you have not read the books. If you have read the books you find it as different as the hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy movie was from the book. The problem I had was Richard was too small on this series. He is described as bigger than all the people around him and he is smaller than most of the other cast members and he was clean shaven when Richard in the books always had a beard. It’s not at all what you picture. Then they also made darken Rahl Richards brother instead of father, and he has black hair instead of blonde. It’s all wrong from the source material.

This is definitely one instance where it's better to watch the show first. Luckily for me, I didn't know about the books until I saw the show.
@@jeremyallen9624 me too. But then I read the books eventually and although the book is undoubtedly a very interesting book, I ended up appreciating the work of the movie makers. Terry has a powerful imagination and an interesting knack for describing very gruesome stuff in a picturesque manner. Legend of the seeker can be watched by younger people but if the sword of truth series is made into a movie exactly the way it is, the age restriction would go up
Omg trope overload.

This series had the potential to be a hit IF it did not follow the "Sword of Truth" series so faithfully. Terry Goodkind is a unique offer, I enjoyed all the series' books except "Naked Empire" which I think just went too crazy and all-about-Richar-and-him-being-right-and-everyone-else-is-wrong sorta book. Thanks to Terry Goodking for making the series possible but if the show wanted to he a better hit, it should not have followed the books so faithfully. (even though thats what a show is suppose to do)
poleka Poleka Legend of the Seeker did not follow the 'Sword of Truth' book series, it used story elements form the books but the overall story was very different from the books. Maybe it'd have been more successful if it follows more faithfully the source material
+poleka Poleka I didn't mind Naked Empire but I thought Temple of the Winds was boring. :(
I tweeted Jeff bezos to make this show
This looks cheap and poorly done, I'm sure the developers or this tried their best but the series is way to good for it to be placed under them. First big thing is the sword of truth has truth written on the handle not the blade it mentions it multiple times in the book and it plays a big role.

It should be borne in mind that Legend of the Seeker was a TV show with a TV budget and not a grand blockbuster movie with a LotR sized budget. I think this show had one of the best production quality compared to other network shows of its time.
And complaining about the placement of the word Truth on the sword is just nitpicking. There are far more important differences to the story that worth complaining about than the inconsequential ones. I don’t think it played such a big role in the books.
I just finished the first book in the series. Should I wait to watch it ? Does it use the other books as well or just the first?
+Richard VK thr first season is inspired by book 1 and the second season is inspired by book 2 and they borrow different elements from the several of the books but mostly it goes in its own direction. LotS is a 22-episode syndication on a budget, so it's near impossible to keep it true to the books completely. but I for one loved both the TV show and the books! it's just important to keep an open mind.
So many spoilers in this its not even funny.
what are the spoilers there's legit none
The show was pure garbage.
