I agree, the t.v series was okay but no where near the greatness of the books. They left out way to much of the important moments and charecters like Gratch, Raina, Berdine and others. Oh and where were the Mud people???? and the Red Dragon?? And the fact that they made Darken Rahl, Richards brother instead of his Father, that kind of ticked me off a bit. I hate it when they mess with greatness!!!! Sorry for the rant :(
Bridget Regan definitely was the best choice for Kahlan. She's exactly what I imagined Kahlan to look like! But the books are way better than the tv series. I was disappointed the series left out bernadine, raina etc. and the fact they made cara start out totally evil :) miss gratch as well :(
Megan Fox has appeared in successful action movies, and she's physically fit and hot: but sultriness alone won't make a good Kahlan, a character you have to believe has the wisdom and mental sharpness to be an outstanding ruler of the Midlands and worthy of Richard's love. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just haven't yet seen from Megan's work proof that she could credibly play an inspiring and wise figure of authority.
When I read the book, I somehow get a picture of Kate Beckinsale as Khalan. I did not mind Bridget Reagan in the role, but having Kate in it will be perfect!
don't agree with Nicci Richard or Kahlan. sorry but as good a Clark Kent he was I see Richard being able to be a combo of good old boy and and the rock. Nicci has to be able to pull off evil turned good guys best friend Kahlan has to be powerful and beautiful and the rest you got pretty good in my opinion. Nathan should be younger though. thanks for the video ideas of what a movie series could be. fingers crossed Mr Goodkind will give us a true SoT movie or series one day.
Kahlan and Richard are clearly the most difficult to cast. I wasn't really satisfied with my Kalhan hence the "nearly" perfect^^ If I had to make another try I have some great ideas but at the time I made the video, I couldn't find any better (the color of the hair can be changed ;) )
I thought Megan Fox was perfect as well as Richard, but Nicci no but I believe you did great. I really wish they would make a movie. I read all the sword of truth and I really miss Richard and Kahlan
@buffedanimal359 I agree that Craig Horner wasn't a good fit for the book canon description of Richard, but I do think that he was an acceptable choice for a tv series that wanted to show his growth from unworldly youth to possible Lord Rahl in a short time, and Craig improved as the series went on. The choice of Bridget never bothered me (plus she became a book fan) and she's more appropriate than 90% of the usual candidates for Kahlan.
One more comment...I like how the large number of characters and the actors/actresses proposed to play them are presented briskly to stirring music. In too many videos of this kind each character/actor's presentation drags way too long. I may not agree with some of the choices, but it's still a great vid to watch.

Denna need to be a older actors Helen (Thor Ragnarok) . There got zed and Cara right first time but need new ones now. I agree with you on zed. Cara (the firefighter from Chesapeake shore). Chase need to brought back did it perfectly. Whoopi Goldberg as Scarlett. Sister Nicci need a tall blonde very good looking lady (do not know who). James lannister for lord ralh. My and misses have x which I could buy the rights and write it. 😁
