One time, my hubby was on a business trip in HK and got me a very expensive Louis Vuitton. He didn't want to tell me how much he had paid for it, but I forced him. I support small businesses/vendors so Everytime na namamasyal ako sa ibat-ibang lugar sa atin pag ako'y nauwi, I always make sure to purchase one and hindi ako tumatawad. tinatanong ko kase kung binili ba sa iba or they made it themselves. Pag angkat, medyo natawad, pag hindi, keep the change :) Dami ko kasing napapanood na sobrang hirap sila then bibilhin lang sa murang halaga tas ibebenta ng napakamahal. at Pampasalubong na din :)

If I'm a public figure like a big time celebrity then why not or better yet buy a brand new, or if I have a daughter that I can pass it on but since I'm just an ordinary working class I settle for what is within my means and I don't have a daughter. I'd rather use the money to invest in real estate with the Hermes price as my down payment for a house and lot. Birkins are very nice .. still too expensive even for a 2nd hand. The purple one is 79,800 Hongkong $ = almost 540,000 Phil pesos = 10,200 US $ ... It's about the same in a New York city vintage/collector's/2nd hand store. Birkins go between 10,000-18,000, depending on the size and year it came out (how newer of an item it is).

Honestly Ma'am Christine if I have a budget to buy a Hermes bag, I will buy it from the Hermes boutique shop. To fully experience the feelings of buying an expensive bag inside the luxury shop. Kasi pag hindi inside ng Hermes Boutique shop yong feeling parang namimili kalang sa Greenhills. When I visited Japan, I bought one LV from that kind of shops inside the big malls, parang bumibili ka lang ng candy or parang namimili kalang sa Greenhills, yes its true its way cheaper compared to buying inside the LV Boutique Shop, subalit hindi mo mapapalitan yong feeling na bibili ka ng LV sa LV Boutique. Yong feeling na kahit few minutes lang parang very important person ka sa LV boutique ha ha ha. Kaya mula noon hinihintay ko mag sale ang LV Boutique shop saka lang ako bumibili, but its like once in every 2 years lang- pang reward ko sa sarili ko. Kaming mga nakatira sa Australia mag bibili kami ng luxury bag overseas if more than $1,000 dollars hindi namin madala ang bag boxes kasi huhulihin kami at pabayarin ng tax ha ha ha. Mag bibili kami ng bag from overseas travel dapat gamitin namin the actual day babalik sa Aus para hindi kami ma tax ha ha ha
