- Flashback! Old unearthed video! We took a detailed look at our #IROCdaily project car! Take an uncensored and unfiltered look at our 1986 IROC-Z project car to see what we found that was bad and good and will give you an idea of what to look for in a 3rdgen you may purchase.
Overall, we really scored when finding this car!
Disclaimer, this is an older video we found on our phone from when we were doing a live chat on our Instagram account @Camaro.Family. This was originally shot in vertical format, so we cropped it to horizontal format. This had degraded the image quality (compared to our other videos on our channel).

I just got an 88 Iroc 5.7 for 6500$ in pretty good condition, It took me almost 1 year to find one at this price and in decent condition
Nice! We looked for about a year to find this one at a good price in this condition…for not much more than you paid. Ours had running issues and late registration fees. All good, considering the condition. They are harder to find these days. I look forward to seeing yours.
I got a 88 iroc 5 speed (305). Has a 350 crate from blueprint now. With cam headers 3" all the way back to exhaust sounds amazing . It took at least a year to find. No t tops. I love it. Need to figure out the paint aka save some money.

@@CamaroFamily hey I just uploaded a short video of my camaeo. I'm not a professional photographer. Its a 350 bored .30 Hedman hedder summit intake and carb. Northern radiator and duel fan. Its got 4 wheel disc brakes. G92 code. 3" pipe to exhaust. Cam it sounds great. Need interior and paint.
That car is in great shape! If you find one with good leather on the steering wheel and a good drivers seat you've done well. The door handles can be tightened up by the two speed nuts that hold them on. All the other small items are normal third. Add t-tops to that car and it would be the exact same car as my first third gen. I'm subscribing cause I want to see more of this car. Congrats on the nice find!

You’re welcome! we found more wrong with the car after recording this video...including leaking fuel rail O-rings and an improperly replaced injector. Maybe we should do a complete once-over again before going into more repairs. Cool 89 on your Instagram!
