How do you go about removing the hazard switch to transfer over to new stereo
Question: before I attempt to take out my stereo, I have a problem with the AUX lead input: I have tried two stereo small jack to jack leads and each time the sound is reversed, ie. left channel in the right speaker and right channel in left speaker. I find this very annoying. I have taken out the AUX input to check and it is a closed lead, so I cant reverse the channels from there. Is the input in the back of the stereo the same (a closed plastic unit) or does it split into 2 wires so I can change them? I couldn't see the AUX input there on your stereo.

I have a 2011 fieast and the steering wheel buttons don't work anymore and the voice button on the indicator don't work either. Is there a simple solution to fix this or do I have to take it to a dealer to fix? Any help would be great.

Check out Connects2, I was able to buy a full kit with the right fascia plate and adapters etc, came with everything I needed

Do you have the link for the SOT-938 kit. My car doesn’t have Bluetooth but I’ve upgraded to a later fiesta radio and it needs the adapter leads for the Bluetooth to work. It’s a 2010 mk7 fiesta

hei, in 2013 they changed a few things, like the new system SYNC, on the Fiesta but its still the MK7, so when you got a Fiesta from 2013 or past, its different to the Fiesta of 2008.
Can these radios take rca cables?
I see that this radio module only has 2 plugs but i also see many videos of radio modules that only 1 bigger plug from the same model Fiesta (mk7)
Can anyone tell wich Fiestas have that one plug radio module and wich Fiestas got the 2 plug module??

It's possible if either the pins inside are bent or the connector is not pushed on properly.

Hi I am looking to retro fit an internal bluetooth PCB for music and hands free. This will require me splicing into steering wheel control wiring.. Do you have any info on wiring colours for steering wheel controls? and aux in behind head unit?
Due to model/year/spec variance you would be best advised to give the dealer your chassis number for the correct info on this one.

Really good little video! Just wondering if anyone knows? We have a fiesta 2009 but want a sat nav built in? Or even a Bluetooth stereo unit with dab? Is this possible? Could I get a newer ford stereo and put it in? She's got a zetec so basic ford stereo without Bluetooth
I don't think you can put in a different ford stereo without replacing a lot of the wiring, from what I've read and enquired.
any idea what wire is the switch live ?
On this model your best to take a switched live from the cars fuse box because what can appear to be a simple switched live could just be on a timer before cutting power.
Any idea where the flux capacitor is??

Hey bud, know an old video, but what specifics do you need to replace a radio? As in size etc. Trying find ones to fit the dash but not sure to search
Radios only come in two sizes, single din and double din.
For an easy life ask your retailer about single din radios.

My mk7 fiesta doesn't have Bluetooth so I would like to change the stereo to one that does. I have a menu screen on my car where I can change things like, activate powerfold mirrors, indicator behaviour and other options. If I replace the stereo, would I lose these features?

My ford fiesta has a different lead out the back of it which is like a micro usb and I don’t know why
How do u make the radio hands free mate do u just put that SOT - 938 in and then it works or is there something else 👍🏻
You either buy a radio with Bluetooth hands free or add something like a Parrot hands free kit.
Consult a retailer for prices and current models.👍🏻

Hi. Did You solved this? I got same problem. Left it on aux and all buttons not responds. Still can using through aux wire.
That’s quite simple actually. Just disconnect the battery for 15 minutes and it’ll work again. It’s also possible to pull out the designated fuse, but because it’s UA-cam and I can’t post pictures here it’s quite hard to show you which ones you’ll need to pull. Can you guys let me know if it’s worked for you?

That's a very common thing lol. Yes but you might have to pop the lid off the radio to top it out.

Cd mech is either out of alignment or something is inside that shouldn’t be.

Seen lots of them with coins inside from kids posting them in the slot.

@@stevehannigan3498 If you have already purchased the new radio you will need to find a place that is insured to work on electronics that they didn’t supply.
If you still need to buy the radio the. No problem because places like Halfords will supply and fit. Most places don’t want to touch radios bought from elsewhere incase the owner try’s to scam them saying the company broke the radio.

Try giving a Ford main dealer your reg number to see if they have it on file.
