@@robertaconti6072 Supreme Court of Israel only banned the practice in 2000s since 1948 after IDF were taken to court by some Israelis concerned about human rights violations. It was before then a very natural and encouraged practice for IDF to use Palestinians as shields. Even after the ban they still do it. One famous case was the use of a 9 year old boy and even now in this war they tied a Palestinian they first wounded to the hood of their jeep convoy.
