WERA Nelson Ledges C-Superstock Novice 9-24-2022

WERA Sportsman Series at Nelson Ledges Race Course on September 24th, 2022.
Race 5: C-Superstock Expert and Novice. 6th place finish in novice group.
My buddy Logan finished 3rd place in novice with his first podium on his 4th race. This was my 7th race... Both of us on our first season as Novice motorcycle racers.

Great job. I took the race school that week at Nelsons. What lap times would you recommend getting down to before my signing up?

Depends on what class you run, but I would say to be competitive in novice on a 600, between 1:16 and 1:10. I ran faster laps in practice with no traffic doing 1:11’s. You can see on my lap timer throughout the race that I have some 1:12’s, 1:13’s, 1:15’s depending on traffic
