- Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin held his first news conference Thursday since he was hospitalized for complications from surgery to treat prostate cancer earlier this month. Austin and the Pentagon received criticism for not immediately disclosing his hospital stay to the White House and the public. Austin apologized for keeping his hospitalization a secret, adding "I did not handle this right."

How to say you are racist without actually saying it. What in the world does affirmative action have to do with this? And with all of the history of white generals like Custer that you all still seem to celebrate getting a lot of people killed, at what point was some sort of program to boost white people brought up there? What about George Washington who as a young officer got a lot of people killed while in Ohio? He later was promoted anyway and soon became president. But white people get a pass.

I work with two guys that retired from the military and were highly decorated one had a bronze star the other a silver star and both earned a Purple Heart. They have both have no respect for Austin. The disease yes. The man no way. One of my best friends had the same surgery on 12/26/23. They told him up front exactly what he was facing and the extent of his recovery. This man and his staff lied to cover up the surgery and then they lied to cover up their initial lie. There is no honor in people like that. They cannot be trusted.
