I think he can, I believe he made some serious mistakes when he first got here and that set him back. I think a few more coaching tweaks and he will eventually win big and dominate for a few years. I have to look at this year as year 1 for him because he cleaned up his mistakes from the real year 1. My personal opinion.
Sloan was a bad choice...but also..Jayden and those receivers hid the fact the team was still rebuilding especially on Defense which is not an overnight thing...new fans have unrealistic expectations...especially with a reckless Nuss at QB
Well. Reckless or not. We can't run the ball with this OLINE consistently enough. But our major problem.. is WR. and noone is talking about it. Anderson is a bright spot.. But NONE of these guys are expanding the field. We have.. HAVE to get WR down the field and someone who dont jump early
Brian Kelly biggest issue is the golf course . It is widely known that he hates recruiting and he delegates a lot of coaching duties to his assistant coaches and golfs. If he quits concentrating on the golf ball and concentrate on the football the team would be better . He isn’t plugged in
Great take. Lesser coaches has won in the old era of college football. Kelly is in a new era for spending vs Recruiting. No one knows the right formula yet. It’s why Saban retired.
I don’t know what happened. I was just about to press comment and everything I wrote disappeared. In any event I’m an ND fan and I was just posting that Kelly’s 2012 season (his 3rd season) wasn’t nearly as good as he might want people to remember it was. I posted a bunch of stats, but now I really don’t want to go back and re-write them. Just go look at that season if you’re interested and decide for yourself if that was a good team.
Losing guys is one thing and every team goes through it they just have staffs in place to maintain a roster which LSU hasn't done well at all nor evaluated talent and have not hit on guys they really needed to not miss on as bad as they have in places. But LSU has still had good enough players and a team to compete throughout the season this year and wouldn't win them all but at least have made it a game until the end which they haven't done and have actually regressed big time. The main thing I see and is most unnerving and unacceptable is that the football team has simply been "soft" as far as the standard should be for LSU and a legitimate sec caliber contender goes and idk if its strength and conditioning, current culture, or both but LSU football needs to fnd the grit, hunger, toughness, stamina, and fight in them again and start at least making teams feel like theyre in a fight versus going out and getting knocked around like we've seen for some time now
If Kelly loses to Vandy tomorrow I hear arrangements are already in place and being finalized to bring in Nick Saban as head coach, Urban Meyer as OC, and Ed O as DC and team motivator....glorious days ahead just have patience 😃
Stop bitching, we lost our starting QB, RB, WR1, WR2, & OC. On Defense we were razor thin at DT, loss our starting DT & star LB. What did yall expect? I expected 8-4
Grand delpit, Rashad Lawrence, kay’lov chassion, Jacob Phillips, Damone Clark, Kristian Fulton, Derek stingley, Braden fahoka, Patrick Queen, Neil Farrell, jay ward, cardale flott, all played in the nfl
That 2019 defense was absolutely stacked. The only reason it's numbers didn't look good was because they had to play so many possessions because they scored 50 on everybody.
Nuss is a late second day pick at best. He will return and be better all depending on our OL which has been the biggest disappointment in terms of position group. I hope our recruiting class doesn’t fall apart.
All you self-appointed experts should thank Brian Kelly for giving you content. I think LSU’s ship is going to right itself because it has a tradition of winning and the players will take responsibility and win.
Great take. Lesser coaches has won in the old era of college football. Kelly is in a new era for spending vs Recruiting. No one knows the right formula yet. It’s why Saban retired.
Can Brian Kelly win big at LSU?

Honestly I have no excitement watching lsu games with Brian Kelly as the head coach. Can’t wait for the next coach
Not a chance...
Can Brian Kelly win small-medium at LSU? Maybe start there...
You gave me chills listening off those D Line studs from the past. Oh the good ole days!

You thinking it's the NFL it's college you go get any players you want you can fix any position by going and getting the players
BK knew Sloan wasn’t his first choice but when you have B Underwwod on your side it becomes a business decision unfortunately.
@@cliftonewing1724 Getting random players especially ones who didn't cut it on their current teams isn't the answer...that is a stop gap

I have been a tiger fan since 1962. There have been a lot of next years. Patience is the key and like it or not it's the only way.

Matt moans when he wipes
You don't?
Yeah I thought everyone did
Bryce just flipped to Michigan. I'm hurt

Kelly’s biggest win will be the win against Bama in OT and that’s about it
If Kelly loses to Vandy tomorrow I hear arrangements are already in place and being finalized to bring in Nick Saban as head coach, Urban Meyer as OC, and Ed O as DC and team motivator....glorious days ahead just have patience 😃
LOL! What a hilarious title! 😂😂😂
If BK doesn’t have a natty (or at least make a run for one) by the time Underwood is declaring for the draft, he’s getting a nice buyout
Underwood just flipped to Michigan boss🤮
Is it just me or does whoever is talking to Matt sound like Theo Von
talk me off the ledge right now
I’m starting to think no
You are way to serious for the spot LSU is currently in. Face it… BK was a whiff of a hire.
Stop bitching, we lost our starting QB, RB, WR1, WR2, & OC. On Defense we were razor thin at DT, loss our starting DT & star LB. What did yall expect? I expected 8-4
Stop making excuses for BK cause you want to keep access… yall are cowards
Clemson week one loss. Melt
We aren’t winning anything under kelly. Cope harder
Biggest win of his career was the one win against Bama… and it has got yall nothing. Pretender coach for Pretender team.
🤡
Nope
that 2019 defense was not filled with NFL talent either, stop making excuses for Kelly
