Thanks for the video great explanation of everything. Will try your technique. Replacing celing tile is new to me and have to replace a bunch of water stained tiles. Going to put my on spin on it and also try out measuring the back side or using the damaged tile as a template drill from back with hole saw till pilot bit pops thru then flip tile and drill thru finished side.
@@skillstacking ah okay just wondering bc I had one fall bc of a leak. But I was always told to never touch it at all lol low key a little scared about it. That’s why when I saw you touching it I got confused.
@@skillstacking one time i faced a very strange shape that i didnt have patient to to it, combination of semi triangle on rectangle one side shorter than other ,terrible shape! i think the only way to do it would be on template

No I did not. As long as you aren’t hitting it with a hammer you’ll be ok. Those things will be ok with the little you’ll be touching it.

Yea I once had that problem before. I made a template out of cardboard. Haha
Why u measure from outside?
That edge is what is seen and it is a factor edge. Sometimes the edge that sits on the grid is smashed.
