i have this mower with the Kawasaki and really nothing bugs me like it does you except for the rattles, but i took care of them by adding rubber here and there just like you did. its a great mover if you can get it on sale but at full price im not sure. i paid about 3500 for mine from lowes. i used gift cards that i got for 15% off, i got another 10% military discount, and at the time they were giving another 11% mail in rebate. for that price its a hell of a mower. im not sure if i would have paid full price at over 5k. really my only big complaint about this mower is it slides down hills very easy, i have some steep hills and if its even slightly wet it will just slide down the hill and i cant stop. other than than it runs great, cuts great, hydros have been great, no problems at all. my last mower was a hustler raptor and that thing was awful, bolts and parts falling off with less than 50 hrs on it, horrible cut in long grass and the hydros were problematic. it was a residential mower not commercial, but still expensive. oh, just thought of one other negative on the ariens, that kawasaki engine runs great with lots of power but it sure drinks that fuel.
Mine has been through one season and has a major squeal. Have been told it’s the transaxle. Trying to get it fixed is a hassle because only a few dealerships. Have to go to next city rent a truck and trailer just to get it fixed what a hassle. Will never buy a mower from Lowes again. I’m two for two Last mower was a Troy built that had a screw in the engine from the factory.

Those Colon engines are crap! Buy a Kohler engine if you get the option they are much better.
Just mowing no talking.
That’s not mowing that’s killing grass, you need to do some serious self reflection hahaha 🤣
