Dan, one quick question. I know this is a bit last minute but do you (or anybody else in the comments) have a structure for design questions in section A? This was great but is mainly focussed on acting skills movement. Thank you!
With design questions I find it best to always start by addressing these two areas straight away in the first part of your answer 👇
1. Original Staging / Structure / Style
2. Your choice of stage / Structure / Style
Original staging is always asked for but sometimes it can be hidden in the question itself rather than shown in bullet points…so read it carefully!
Then…state your choice of stage / structure and style…even if it’s not asked for!
This is because regardless of what design options come up (Lighting / Set / Props / Sound etc) you will need to think of these in relation to the stage / structure and style…so, it’s very important to know what they are!
Following that, address the bullet points with your ideas and ideally try to find three clear moments in the extract to talk about.

dan i have a quick question before tomorrow. in section b in all previous past papers it says "2 key moments" however, the sample paper provided for 2024 mocks, it said "one key moment" are you aware if on of the other is confirmed?
I believe it can be both there was a 1 key moment in the 2022 past paper of a question on set and props

A good question. Yes 2022 does say one key moment also, so it’s best to prepare for two scenes.
Even if it does turn out to be one moment, these will always be out of 15 marks. So just pay attention to the details of the question and make sure you’re hitting those bullet points with clear details specific examples 👍
