@@runoflife87 DAC still will exist for a looong time though. You guys in Bulgaria have the DAC CHavdar 317ETr, then theres the Rocar 112 being restored in Romania (hehe..its mine), and the DAC 112UDM in NY (also mine!). So, thats across an ocean...and I know of a Rocar 112RDTM in Costa Rica, and a Rocar 217E in Kiev in a museum (although its kind of rough...but better than the sorry excuse for a museum in Iasi Romania...but in Romania the remainders are in very bad shape)
@@RipRoaringGarage I'm from Russia actually. Those trolleybuses were popular in late 80's to early 90's but almost all of them were gone for 4-5 years due to quality issues (even worse then ZIU or Kiev trolleybuses) . In contrast Skoda 14/15 stayed for 30+years to be mostly replaced in the mid 10's only.
@@runoflife87 Yeah, the earlier ones in the USSR (Ukraine, Harkov and Kiev) were the good ones, but then the Rocar batch was lower quality...generally the older ones, especially export models were great, like the Bulgarian DACs, the German and American ones. Even mine being a weird model..using a real MAN engine, lasted very well, still running with over 1 million miles), They also got abuses and mis-repaired a lot under communism, since they didnt care, and nobdoy would get fired (well, almost nobody).
The good old days of Bulgaria
Ееее старото време какво хубаво е било
@@ivanilayakimova2526 Напротив,променила се е...към по лошо
DAC was truly a global brand.
Not for long actually.

I Just wonder if there were many ZIU trolleybuses in bulgarian cities.
Next video is with Skoda 14 tr/9tr after that i upload with Ziu 10 and 9 :)) Just stay tuned :))
@@KRAKOMOBILA thanks. That would be cool.
