@@2.5k_ping56 if they add it to every new case which is what is suspected to happen. Then new cases will be opened less because more people are going to be inclined to rent at the start of a case drop when skins are still expensive. This is going to cause new collections to be too expensive for longer and the new cases will be more expensive for longer. Personally when a new case drops and I see someone with a red from it, I think it’s hype either they got lucky or payed out the ass for it. Now when a new case I’m just going to think wow you just rented the skin.

@@PythonCSit's a very old game from 2007 it's like cs1.6 but more weapons, it's still relevant from this day. I forgot to mention that u can rent weapons for mp and cash for a days, week or even permanently.

They basically added a subscription that supports skin artists. I dont mind it ngl. It lowers the amount of skins possible for a collection, increasing case value. It will lower red value but increase knife value. So i think its fine lol

Today Some idiot got banned during a casual match on Vertigo. We all had a good laugh. Some long VAC message showed up and poof dude was gone (Dude named burger) He was served by Gaben
I feel that renting skins will likely make case prices for new ones keep their higher prices for longer, which is great news for me as I mainly play to sell my level up drops to then buy games

Not at all was it a massive update. Valve basically shot their own feet with that renting skins thing.

If they did it for free sure but you pay for the key and the case gets used so not only are you letting people who dont wanna gamble just straight up use good skins for a week but you're also lowering case numbers which will make them more expensive and yield more money via the steam market.

This is Chinesium. In the far east, it is so accepted to rent skins and services such as ranking services. It is absolutely ridiculous. Just as Maplestory made it possible for its players to pay for pets to collect their loot, for a month at the time.

Renting skin will make people who on the fence about a skin decides faster (if they don't buy, they look into another skin. Market flow faster) but most importantly it introduce player to a skin they never thought they would want so it is a win win situation

It won't impact the skin market as none of these assets are going into the market. You can't trade them, gift them. You only play with these skins in the match.
