Thanks Jonathan. I have to decided to volunteer with the Audio Visual Production team at my Church in Northern VA. This is a good tutorial video for ProPresenter for us newbies.
Glad it was helpful! I have some others on the new ProPresenter 7 on my channel as well. And if I can be of any assistance to your church with any tech needs, please let me know. :)
great video. We have a projector and equipment for a good live presentation. I will pull the trigger on propresenter today because of your vid, very helpful!
Thank you for the compliment. Really appreciate it. I have not invested a ton of time into UA-cam but want to this year. Hopefully will be producing more soon.
Thank you! I hope it helps. I have a few others videos I have uploaded about the new ProPresenter recently. And if I can be of any assistance in any other way with training your team, please let me know. I just did a similar training with my team.
Hi! Are you in Propresenter 6 still or did you upgrade to 7? I think the process is the same but just might look a little different in the UI. If you want to shoot me an email, I will send you some screen grabs of where you need to go.
Can playlist be shared from the propresenter to worship band members via text messages for upcoming services? One of my band members has worked with a system that has those capabilities and even adds links of song (lyrics, chords, and UA-cam tutorials) in playlists for rehearsals. Or would you happen to know what system that is? Any feedback/direction would be appreciated
Hi! Thanks for the question. I don't believe that this is a function that ProPresenter really does. At least not well. It sounds like you are talking about PlanningCenter which is an online scheduler. All of those pieces are available within that. You can link ProPresenter to PlanningCenter to have some communication back and forth between the 2 that would potentially make some of those functions more seamless, but I have not done this myself to be able to explain those functions. If you haven't used PlanningCenter before, it is a great tool for exactly what you are wanting to do. planningcenteronline.com. Hope that helps!
Are the songs (the full length song the audience is singing along to) linked to the first slide? I was surprised to see you click cut all audio in the middle, and it only apply to the pads. I assumed the song is tied to the first slide just like the pads were.
Thanks for asking! The only audio that is linked to songs in ProPresenter is the pads that add some ambiance and transition points. Our tracks are run on a separate computer while the band is playing.
Hi Iesha! Glad to help. Cleanest way is to shoot me a message through the form on my website and then I will email you back. ajheadley.com/about form at the bottom. Thanks!
At the time of this video, we were not livestreaming. Our ProPresenter set up was solely for main screens at the time. If you are needing to output propresenter to Vmix, this video will help get you started. studio.ua-cam.com/users/videoODli5c0yC5U/edit What are you looking to do in VMix? I use it at my current church and have learned some about it that I may be able to answer some questions for you.
@@JonathanHeadley I’m being groomed as a backup a/v person at our church. We do have both Vmix & propresenter, we live stream only the camera that’s focused on the pastor, we don’t livestream the lyrics or Bible verses.
@@gspriggs Gotcha! So use the video link I sent you to be able to create the different screen looks you need and what not. It is an in depth process but can be done. Look on UA-cam for a video on outputting NDI from ProPresenter and receiving that in Vmix. I myself am out of town and not currently in front of my system to be able walk you through it. But if you don't get it figured out, reach out to me via my website, ajheadley.com, next week and we can set up a time to talk.
I'm totally new at this. Can you tell me how many people are needed to run a service and what might the positions be. I need to recruit volunteers and let the learn or specialize in their area. Blessings any help is appreciated.
Hi Rita! Welcome to the rabbit hole that is church tech. :). Answering your question is based on your needs. I can tell you what we have right now. I currently have 1 person on CG (ProPresenter), 1 on Audio, and 1 Running our SlingStudio which is our video switcher. I also generally have a producer who keeps everything on track. The producer sometimes runs CG from a central location if I am short-staffed. Additionally, I will be soon adding another audio person to do a separate mix for our live stream and since we are just able to go inside the school we rent starting in a couple weeks, I will also have a lighting station. My goal is that all of these positions have a person each week, but that is not regularly the case right now. So some are run by 2 people or I may look into automating things together like having ProPresenter feed cues to the lights to switch. If I can be of any assistance to your team, please shoot me an email and we can set up a time to talk. Thanks!
Thanks for the question. I built it from a template. I bought that particular template from videohive.net and then plugged in my information. There are lots of great resources like that to use. Don't have to be an after effects wizard. I have been doing the same for many of our sermon bumpers recently rather than think I have to do it all on my own. :)
I believe you may be asking about transitioning between slides as you are worshipping? So we click on the next slide as soon as the worship leader starts to say the last word of the slide that is on screen. (If that makes sense.) Your brain has already read the last word and doesn't need to necessarily see it as it is being said. So this gets the next set of words on the screen so you have enough time to process them before singing them. Hope that is the right answer to your question. If it is not, please let me know.
Thank you for your video. My Church is small and i'm learning their programs, such as this one, to help out. Thank you again :)
great video! as a newbie I am humbled and overwhelmed with the things you are doing.

Thanks for the comment! Glad I could be of even a little assistance. :).
Do you do personal training.
Why do you only have 316 subs?! Bro great video. So clean and well put together.

Hi Jonathan, thanks for the video. I was wondering if you could share how to connect Propresenter to Google Drive. I love that idea.
