I love the idea of shadow using his actual running speed plus his air shoes to move faster. Always thought he wasn’t going as fast as he actually could by just using the shoes alone

The only complaint I have is the intro to chemical plant act 1 with Sonic's sprite appearing out of nowhere, but it must be really hard to change it, so nice job!🦔

Seeing as Mighty has the bounce, Knuckles and Ray have different glide abilities, Tails can hover/fly and Sonic has the dropdash. Shadow should have a homing attack to go with his teleporting chaos abilities.
Glad we can see more from Shadow on Sonic Mania. Can't tell if this is an update on the mod since my memory is often bad, but I'm still excited to see more from Shadow on games that aren't considered the biggest titles. Nice upload this Saturday
I would argue this was the biggest Sonic title in the past decade. Mania gave us a new 'classic' title that condensed so much of what made the originals good. Its great seeing the addition of fully fleshed out character gameplay for those that weren't playable.

Pretty cool! I'm glad Robotnik was swapped for Eggman Nega, as well! Wish the other characters would get swaps too. Say: Tails->Rouge, Knuckles->Robotnik, Mighty->Omega, Ray->Metal

It would've taken a long time to change all the Sonic sprites on the tile map to look like Shadow. Especially at this quality. Because this ain't no lazy palette swap with. Each sprite frame has been expertly drawn over top of Sonic's. But changed to depict how Shadow would look doing it. This is great work well done. Because Shadow plays identical to Sonic I'm assuming this is what Sinnombre has done.
Literally the only thing I can mention is that his voice line at the start should be bitcrushed a lil bit, since right now it's a bit too smooth compared to the rest of the sounds

megamix’s shadow doesn’t look nearly as quality as this one’s, sadly. With the fun title screen + menu remodeling they did here, I can’t help but prefer this mod

It would be really funny if they made the op with sonic but when you pressed the start button shadow transitioned into the screen like "this is my game, gtfoh"

The 2.1 version replaces Ray instead of sonic. The 2.0 version was the finished version showcased in this video. The 2.0 download link was taken down and the only mod with the sonic replacement is an edited version changing shadow's super form into a "ultra ego"

Just the Shadow mod I believe. The Modern Sonic Boost mod should work fine since there is a link on the Shadow mod page. I think the Modern Sonic Boost mod should be below the Shadow mod, but if that doesn't work you can always try and put the Shadow mod below the Boost mod.
Man I want this to be real so bad. Please for the next classic Sonic game. Whenever that will be, please add some more playable characters. Give me Shadow, Amy, Silver, Blaze, he’ll give me Robotnik, give me Big the Cat. Who cares about continuity Mania already threw that out the window with the different dimensions thing.

Tbh, as much as I find the idea of Shadow being in a classic series game questionable, I can't lie and day this mod ISN'T clean as hell. In fact, I bet if this came out when Mania was in its prime, you could probably fool a few people into thinking most of this was real DLC

I like to think that shadow switched places with sonic to troll him on purpose.
