great job but one thing is not clear at all.....why in the assembly you use 2 potentiometers of 10k and 50k and instead in the electrical schematic i see 10k and 1k ???? thanks for the answer.
what is the point in mounting the components on the copper side? Looks weak and abnormal. can this same pcb layout be used to mount components from other side or we need to use mirror image?
I built your project but it doesn't work well. The output voltage with 20vcc input does not exceed 10v and is not stable. Applying a 12v 20w lamp the voltage drops and the light seems to flash. The transformer is 100w. Based on q3 an unstable signal is detected. I'm sorry. the counter-reaction feedback is missing
If anything knocks those components they will rip the copper right off of the boards, you should have drilled through and mounted them from the other side

I understand this as a tutorial circuit only, no intention to use it for long term. So it will be a waste of energy to drill holes.
