    Great video mate.
The cheap ones will last about a year with no issues. The ACS ones will last forever. Depending on how you setup your sound the CCA's will be fine. However what's not mentioned is how much the ACS IEM's protect your hearing. The cheaper ones were KZ-10's I've also used sony earbuds, and a few others. For what I do the ACS ambient's were the gamechanger.

Most of the time it's the wires. I am glad that CCA C12 has 2 pin connecters which you can easily switch the wires.

Cheap iem only last a year? This is the first time I'm hearing that cheap iem are disposable. You have a source for that info?

I use KZ-ZS10 Pro. They cost about £45. They work well, but as they are the only ones I’ve used, I’ve nothing to compare against. I went for the gold ones - a nice bit of ear bling without having to have my ears pierced😀.

I have dabbled in these cheap IEMs for a few years now. The CCA C12 are really good for gaming and music but they cost $45. Very clear and great sound. Same goes for the CCA CSN and it costs $25. It has a seudo-custom style, if it fits you well it blocks out sound better. The dynamic driver makes a subtle difference in the low end in these "hybrids".
The CCA CA10 only have balanced armature drivers and they have that seudo-custom style if you are looking for that custom IEM feel. The BAs are really sharp and they sound really good, detailed and decent tamber. They have tight bass, but it can get boosted if you give it more power so its really good for $55.
With these three I feel like I get the best of both worlds in gaming and music.

Hello friend excuse me, at this time to 2024, I leave in a super offer at 15 dollars, for that price, is it worth it over other iems from 15 to 30 dollars I am between those and lso TRN VX?

Hi, C12 cost 50$ not 70$, they are good for the price, I bought them 3 years ago and I still use them from time to time.
You can find much better IEM now, at a reasonnable price, in any case good ear tips are very important.

@@lrvan I've just checked, I have them with JVC Spiral Dots, but they are difficult to find now.
I've tried them with KBear 07, they works very well too, easy to find.

Very interesting video, what set up do you use with IEM for signal? Is it wired or wireless packs?

I wonder if anyone has found a good way of using in-ear monitoring with a small band where only the vocals go through the PA?

The trick is to just do some very basic mic-ing to get it to work :-)

It's called a "passive radiator" my friend. One driver does the heavy lifting while the others are there for support through sympathetic resonance. Because one driver is primarily energizing the vibrations, it creates a very true "source point" experience with more accurate imaging. I was able to compare some $25,000 B&W speakers with multiple drivers to the $30-35,000 KEF Blades (same McIntosh tube monoblocks/preamp/DAC/source were used). I really wasn't impressed with the B&Ws, especially for the price. I'll stick with my Altec 9849 monitors. BUT the Blades made my jaw drop in astonishment. I would love to be able to compare them with the Altec 604, both are dual concentric though the Altec has a much larger woofer while the Blades have passive radiators for the low end support. Buuuuuut all that being said, I don't see the point of passive radiators in an IEM since they're in your ears and this was mostly a joke 😂

$70 is still a lot to throw away, though.
