Kishoreda's voice had a very stereophonic, surround sound effect. It came naturally to him. Other singers of his time didn't have this ability. When you hear Kishore Kumar singing, you feel the song is echoing from everywhere. It's a wonderful feeling.
I tried singing this song as I do with most K.K' songs (or for that matter many Hindi film songs) and I found it impossible! It's one of the most difficult songs for a lay person to sing and it has nothing to do with whether you can hit high notes or not.
Kishore da will remain the best for me, incomparable, eternal. His voice quality, invokes heart breaking feelings. and of course he can do disco songs also with ease. thanks Kishore ji for giving me the inspiration to sing and thanks to. the lyricists and musicians who accompanied him in this great journey.

Iam hearing it for the first time and immediately I was bowled over by the lilting tune. The song is so catchy even our copycat ANnu malik picked up the opening tune for his song in 90s Akshay-starrer 'Main khiladi tu annadi.' The song was 'My adorable darling' sung by the donkey Annu malik along with Alisha. KISHORE DA YOU ARE GREAT.
