If there’s any slack in the cams brakes will stick and grab before releasing. Helps to keep them well greased Release the brakes and jiggle the cams if they move, they need new bushings

Hello all you can pull the S cam with out taking the hub off i have been doing it for quite some time now. At first I would pull the hub off but was taught how to do it without pulling the hub off. But good video anyway 😅
@@javg-nz4mk pretty simple all you gotta do is remove the slack adjuster then unbolt the bushings and take out the bushing by the slack adjuster then unbolt the bushing that's by the shoes and free it up and that should give you enough room to take cam out. I've done it with s cam tube bushings that are short and I've done it without s cam tube bushings the long ones like he has changed in this video. You can take them out without removing the hub still have to take tires off tho. Also depends if there's play in the wheel bearings or if there is a wheel seal or hub seal leaking if there's any of those two things wrong then you may have to take the hub off to change wheel bearings and races along with the wheel seal or just change the wheel seal that's the only time I will take the hubs off to change s cam bushings
GOOD WAY TO RUIN THE WHEEL SEAL BY LEAVING THE TIRES ON THE HUB...
Everything was just fine, dude
Thanks for the All caps
Swing by and let me know when you post a video on this. I’ll come by and check it out for you.

This seems a lot harder than it looks
The heaviness is something you can get used to like muscle memory
