I love the new direction with the channel I showed up on your subscriber list sometime towards the end of the pandemic and I've watched your vids decline in quality. I'm very happy to see that you are taking your channel seriously and I hope that these more awesome videos will keep showing up in my feed. Thanks for having the best nuzlock reaction content in the world.

Hey pChal, Felipez here, thank you so much for making this video and showing what the Pokémon Twitch Cup is to the non spanish speaking community!!
It's hard to put in to words what has been like playing the Twitch Cups. I've been making videos for a really long time and I can confidently say that this is by far the best thing I've been a part of in all this years. Having the oportunity to play a Pokemon game dedicated to you is something else. For anyone who reads this and didn't get to experience it during the streams, pChal did an amazing job summarizing both the tournament and the game but I'll try to add a bit more to that. This is a Pokemon game divided into areas which are designed to pay homage to the players involved. For example, the area dedicated to me in this edition of the game was a mushroom forest filled with quotes taken from videos I made over 10 years ago, and the small area I had last year had references from my favourite game and a battle against myself with a custom Rapidash skin that was both a reference to a twitch emote in my channel and an ode to my late dog. That broke me. The amount of love and atention put into this experience, the people making sure everything goes as smooth as possible for a couple weeks while having the pressure of knowing hundred of thousands of eyes are on them, it's just unreal and I'm so happy to have been a part of this
And for the tournament, having the competitive community getting involved on something like this is also surreal. My coach is not really a coach, he's just a friend, but most coaches are world class players, and everyone can have one of the top players in the world walking through this experience with them, aiding in both the main game and the tournament. I just like playing with my friend so in all the Twitch Cup editions I've gone my way, but if at any moment we felt like we didn't know what to do, how to make a propper team with the Pokemon we had, or needed any help, we knew we could go on a discord call for hours with one of the best players in the world so that he could help us. Imagine being unsure on how to aproach the next time you were going to play football with your friends and having Messi come over to help you, well, that's pretty much it. The competitive community's support over this events is insane, and greatly apreciated.
As far as I know this may very well be the last Twitch Cup, I sincerely hope it's not, but whatever happens being a part of this has been such an honor
Thank you again for making this video

    -Tiny p*nis (Primarina)
    -Anushilape (Anihilape)
    -Ferropuss* (Ferrothorn)
    -Fuepuss* (Skeleridge)
-BemASS (No translation needed, I guess)
-My dingalin (Tyranitar, it's a spanish Simpson's reference)
Also, as a fun remark: Felipez's Gholdengo is called "spare change"

The "Get Sopita'd" strategy ressembles a strategy done on the Twitch Cup 2 by a streamer called "Chusomontero" which had a Pidgeot that learned Explosion. Chuso made it extra funny calling him "Carrerocum" (cum is not unintentional, due to his "cum" related nicknames throughout the entire nuzlocke), because of Carrero's name, who was a fascist politician in Spain that got boomed in his car.
    Truly a majestic callback.

As someome that followed all 3 Twitch Cups, i can assure you this was one of the best videos explaining the event. Thanks for doing this, have been following the channel for years and this absolutely made my day!
For anyone reading this wanting further context on how the Twicth Cup has gone through out the years:
The first Twitch cup was a Fire Red play through that ended in a singles tournament.
Twitch Cup 2 was created from scrap, creating a new narrative, custom towns inspired in streamers and custom Pokémon/trainer sprites for every streamer.
Twitch cup 3 was done the same way as the second edition: new story that was related to the previous year's one, every streamer had it's own sprite/custom poke (they may never encounter it though, as encounters are random) but added the VGC format to change things up!

I'd definitely be up for seeing more tournaments like this develop. Seeing players enter a tournament with teams they've adventured with, rather than just the optimal builds, is far more interesting to me.

Wow, awesome video. As someone who have followed all three Twitch Cup editions, I feel the need to coment that there's also some incredible moments from the second one, in which one of the contestants, Chuso (ChusoMMontero), went full out with a team whose strategy was to do Explosion to the whole enemy team, as the gym leader that suffered it held a battle beforehand as an NPC in which they killed a Pokemon with Self-Destruct. In fact, this gym leader was Knekro, or Sergio García, who back in the day classified as third in the first world tournament of Pokemon in 2000.
Finally, Chuso was so pumped by this tournament (he finished second with a strategy similar to Felipez haha) that he started going to VCG tournaments around Europe. Sadly, he quitted streaming as he was stroken by anxiety and other things, but he still goes to tournaments and he started a career in game development. I needed to share this because going from a "silly" tournament to the real deal takes some guts imho and I kind of admire him for that.
It's nice to see these videos from English speaking community, I knew you 'cause I have watched some of your videos after watching the Jaiden's one about Nuzlockes haha
