I bought this phone for my son for £109 and am pleased with the phone. The reason is that it has a three day batter life. The reason for this is that the processor is a mid range processor, the large screen hides a huge battery and like all other 720P LCD phones it has a long battery life. I am pleased with the performance of the phone for the typical Facebook, UA-cam, Instagram use case. It can run PUBG well enough for me. It is much faster than any entry level Nokia phone that I have bought before. My only reservation is that given it is so good I would buy the G20 for £40 more for its better camera, 1 Gb more RAM, more flash memory and slightly faster processor.
Hello! I recommend the update to Android 12. It solves most of the main issues this phone had before to a certain extent. The battery life also got even better than it already is. All the issues have not been fixed but most of em have been made less annoying and new features have been added of course! Here's the thing running on Android 12 - ua-cam.com/video/jPLsE8PZl8Y/v-deo.html
Actually.. Nokia is giving one of the purely optimized and better software now in the world... And others are oneplus, google, apple iphones, So, nokia have better software.... On my old phone nokia 6.1 plus.. While playing pubg, no lag at all... It will heatup... But it's smooth, i can feel the stock android experience.❤️
This one is definitely not optimized for the processor..its super slow and has stutter. The 6.1 plus has a qualcomm processor. This has a Mediatek which are plagued with issues
@@Techformative557 yes...anyways. Nokia is getting a comeback now... The brand is never gonna die like other old brands like BlackBerry... Nokia is different from that way❣️
@@Techformative557 do you still have Nokia G10? If yes, can you look if there is Android 12 Update now? Maybe the Performance will get better with A12. :)
I hate this phone with a passion, and even more so because I paid $175 for it on their site (including the extended warranty). I've only had it 2 days, but I can't stand all the issues it has - NOT true about 2 days' battery, and definitely not 3, as they advertise! It's super slow (with NOTHING installed on my end), freezes constantly, very low volume (both on calls and with videos), forces you to keep that horrid clock on your lock screen, terrible customer service/tech support, resolution not that great compared to my Samsung A01, has only one speaker which sounds super tinny, and the video quality is not as good either, doesn't come close in brightness of colors/screen), pics are ok w/camera, nothing great. All they could tell me is to do a factory reset, which I ended up doing 3x with no improvement. It's going back ASAP.
Yes I completely understand what you mean...I also now understand why the seller sold it to me for $12, he prolly hated it too..its processor is very underpowered and not up to task at all..Sad to say the Nokia name being tarnished with crap like this
yeah thats the sad part..phone is basically new too so he prolly just got mad and sold it off...also I just checked mine which has been catching dust..Android 12 is available for it..check if yours is running 11 or 12..if its 11, maybe try updating it to 12 and hopefully its better..im updating mine right now
oh shit I totally missed that..I think I was thinking of the Nokia 5800 I bought for $14 when I was making the thumbnail...thanks for pointing that out lol
It makes no difference apparently..the reviews say the same thing. The OS lags. Also only this single unit was available for $12..plus for a Android phone cheaper than my daily lunch, no complaints
I wanna see how Android 12 is on this..Nokia is apparently testing Android 12 for this. 12 is apparently gonna fix a lot of performance issues as they say so lets see
Yes it was $120. Now the phone is brick because of the system update. :( Stuck on the adroidone logo. Nokia wanted me to send the phone for service. After reading their policy, well, that's not gonna happen. I have sensitive data on my phone. SMH. Can't believe $120 gone that easy. Now i have to "poke around" with this phone. But even if i can make it work again, the phone is USELESS because of the system updates. Had this phone for 2 weeks.
