I have one but it's on Orange, I'm wondering if I can unlock it so I can use it again.....mines in mint condition but I don't have the box anymore probably.....
Kudos to techformative557, I concur that the scrollwheels on SonyEricsson's were outstanding tactile and keypress functions, almost the quality of gear knobs you'd find on a cockpit flight deck instruments. The newer capacitative smooth touchscreens capture inputs well, but the wheels were more finger friendly, even radio knobs back in the day allowed more fine tuning than digital keypresses, in some cases.
I bought this back in the day and it's still in my drawer. I remember I bought it because I thought it's cool not to have a camera built in. After I used it for 2 years or so, I remember the keypad started to became not flat any more but over all design is still really cool.
The official language of Latvia is Latvian - but there are two Latvians. Modern Latvian is spoken in the west of the country; Latgalian is spoken in the east. The two languages are mutually intelligible but Latgalian uses some older words and phrases not found in Modern Latvian. - top result off Google
7:44 The official language of Latvia is Latvian and Russian because of how Latvia was part of the Soviet Union, so that's why the phone is in Russian when the phone came from Latvia. Anyway I love your videos and thats why I subscribed to your channel, hope you do well in your career!
I was going to get this phone way back then but I got told about how slow and laggy the OS was so I backed off. Down the line I bought a W902 and then a W995. The latter was by far the Pinnacle of Walkman phones.
Hey, as for the hieroglyphs in the music player, that is a common problem in phones and mp3 players of this era, its caused by Cyrillic laters in songs titles.
I had the W900i (the swivel phone) and it was better than this, it half a gig of internal storage which was huge for the time it also recorded videos at 30fps so it looked really smooth, although i always really liked the minimalist look of the w950
@@ribyxxer What's an M2 memory card? I have one of these, I managed to get my old music off it using Linux and USB I think but I'm intruiged as to what you mean with the memory card? Thanks!

Keep them in room temperature, avoid humid conditions and turn them on once in a way
