I agree with doc .. the map itself is good .. but there are so many other issues , problems , bugs … that’s what kills the fun at the moment
bro, i think it’s just the guns.. like idk why the game is just vanguard now, i didn’t even test the new map yet.. i saw that there were no cod guns and legit deleted the game…
I had a bug where it wouldn't let me use armor plates. Got me killed in final circle.

@@WyaTx2 ? You can use any guns you want in the modes that don’t Vanguard symbol on it. You can only do so in BR Quads & Plunder. Rebirth will be back next week. Vanguard Royal & Resurgence are Vanguard guns only
@@WyaTx2 well you can play with the old guns .. but only quads for now I think .. I guess they will allow it for the other modes too.
And yeah the new guns are … special .. 😄
Making Vanguard Royale an LTM instead of the main game mode would go a long way to fixing the update, gameplay-wise.
The main game mode should be the one that includes all of the MW/CW content.

They lied about it all, I had to stop playing, I will check back after a while, but not hopeful. They said gonna nerf deady, they didn't, they said anti-cheat was coming it didn't, faced several cheaters already, and the game is rubber banding all over the place...I really want to like warzone, but it seems like the developers don't want us to like it. Like they are just seeing how much shit they can dump on us before we stop paying for it. FPS games are fucked for the immediate future....

I played this legit got a dub in resurgence and dipped to halo infinite campaign cus how much my game started crashing afterwards, not only that the amount of guns with the most ugliest builds on ground loot is mind fucking.
This game very much feels like a down grade. It brighter which I like but that's about the only thing I like. I don't like the planes, I don't like the era it takes place in, I hate the guns and I wish they kept/brought back the old map as an option.
As long as they don't bring back jetpack warfare idc what direction cod goes tbh, future or past

Best time to experience a WWII themed game was during the golden Medal of Honor days.
Call of Duty never did reach those times, World at War excluded as that was a damn good WWII theme, and never will.
Your memory is playing tricks on you. The first three CoD titles revoloutionized the WWII games. Never before have we experienced such immersion and staging. Compared to the MOH, COD was the best by the standards of those times.

The first 3 CoD games has MoH vibes all over it which makes sense. Of course as technology progresses and whatnot more assets will be placed into games with greater detail.
That's exactly what CoD did anyways but the MoH games such as Frontline/ Allied Assault (what most people prefer over Frontline and made by Vince Zampella)/Airborne and Rising Sun were magnificent.
Especially Rising Sun regarding the Pacific.
Call of Duty wouldn't even of existed if EA wasn't assholes to Zampella anyways. Zampella broke away because of the bullshit EA was doing and went to Activison to later make the successful CoD games from the already successful MoH games and killed that series as revenge.
Interestingly, Zampella got into a fallout with Activison, formed Respawn and went back to EA, released Apex Legends as a fuck you to Activison's Warzone and now is head of Battlefield 2042 and the entire Battlefield franchise.
Rip CoD, hopefully.

Issue with this game is the lack of a skill gap. I'm pretty decent at halo and I feel like when I lose a fight it's down to the other player being better, in WZ it doesn't feel like that, More often than not it's down to a more OP/Meta build. The time to kill is far to low, gunfights are over in less than 2 secs giving you no real time to react.

WARZONE is unplayable without loaded up Vanguard weapons. I was excitedly play with my Grau with a VLK on this map but that wasn’t even allowed. These janky ass Vangaurd guns are the worst ever.
Totally agree. In Rebirth the first load of weapons was Vanguard weapons ( probably they did to promote these new weapons ) and it was a mess. They were like water pistoles. It wad good you could buy loadout and get your weapons.

I don't think the shotgun even fired at 2:08. I was playing mp tonight and when I jumped and hit fire it wouldn't fire. It's like the sprint to fire time reset when I hit jump and then reset again when I landed so the gun wouldn't fire. It was frustrating as hell

Definitely a more skill gap increase with this update and I honestly am up for it. With the balance to counter it being jus play with good coms and teamwork positioning. A lot of you guys need to remember, The better play wins. Caldera 8/10

Gee it’s almost as if a new map doesn’t magically fix all warzones problems that have been there for years and every streamer constantly complains about them and yet every day they still play warzone and are somehow blindsided that those same problems are still there, I feel like I’m living in Groundhog Day
So ur telling me when u played verdansk your weapons wouldn’t load in right away, you have sum big ass blob on ur scope, all the buildings look like sum Minecraft type shit, and the sounds and game stutters a bit for no apparent reason, it’s unplayable if u on a Xbox one, verdansk was never this bad, I hope they fix all these bugs i just said
Idk why, but my buddies and I have been frying hard on this new map. Checked cod tracker and we're getting the same kd lobbies as on verdansk. Legit played like 20 games or so on caldera and have like 5-6 dubs. It's 5 A.M. and wanted to get off a while ago, but you never get off on a dub. Got like 2-3 back to backs. Anyone else kinda think it feels like early ass warzone vibes? Auto = grau??

I hate the new guns. They've all got funky clips/mags hanging way out to the side or straight up in the air, the floor loot guns with iron sights are terrible, have to wait for a loadout, no anti-cheat yet, etc
I get where doc is coming from. A lot of people had the same reaction when vanguard was first announced and shown to be a ww2 game. It’s the most overdone era in FPS history and at this point why are we going backwards. Keep it modern or advanced. Honestly I wouldn’t mind advanced warfare style gameplay again that would switch it up a lot.

If call of duty wants to save their game they need to make an advanced warfare 2. After halo getting popular it’s the best move and it’s futuristic and the guns and gun play on that game was really smooth imo and ttk was super slow too. Exo changed the pace and made more openings for the game. Maybe they can make that aspect better but overall that style game would be the move and a futuristic warzone map.

They need to introduce new game modes. I have always been a huge fan of the hostage situation in the old Counter-Strike shooters, have to rescue the hostages and get them to the loadout zone or stop the hostages from being rescued.
You do realize regular CoD has a lot of game modes right? This is BR, if you want a variety of game modes buy vanguard

For COD to stay relevant, us gamers want something more current. It’s fine to have older time base games, but Doc is right, most people can’t relate. Modern Warfare was a massive success but as soon as Cod moved backwards towards the cold war era and World war 2 AGAIN we predominantly lost interest. That coupled with terrible builds, the insane hacker issue, countless bugs and glitches and lack of transparency from the games developers has made a large majority of the fans sick and disconnected from the franchise. I’m my opinion they need to take 2 years off and develop something strong and worth it.

Me I just personally love the WW2 time period, just gritty and I've always enjoyed it. After the let down with COD WW2 Vanguard got me hooked pretty quick but it's kinda crazy to feel this way but I wouldn't mind another futuristic type COD, love Vanguard and I loved MW but it wouldn't be the worst thing to go back to the future 😅

I wouldn’t have an issue with old guns providing they was just fitted with Morden sights to make it interesting, and a lot of recoil control I don’t mind going back but with a Modern twist added in. But when you make the guns this bad it’s no wonder people ain’t liking it.
Recoil makes the skill gap, good players know how to control recoil. You sound like you're just trash and you want the game to be as easy as possible

Almost everything they promised did not happen. The vanguard weapons outplay every CW and MW weapons and somehow the recoil feels weird on the old weapons, like i have never played warzone in my life and i play warzone since 2020. Yesterday i had to adjust all the in-game settings for my controller bc the poor devs are not able to leave the settings like it was in the previous season. Dead silence = still the same, You can still equip stopping power rounds in plunder lol, the map is covered with trees and plants which means that there are 10000 camping spots and the shadows and lights simply force me to look around every second bc snipers and players are shooting from every direction and i have no indicator where they are…You see shit on this map. I also have the feeling i am running more uphills than downhills which makes slide canceling impossible, no FOV on consoles, already faced several cheaters…i was really hyped for this game but now again it makes me want to throw my controller to the wall

I think warzone now is more casual friendly.
The reason they won’t is because as time goes by, weapons get better. Then you get into advanced warfare with guns that have little to no recoil and little no negatives. That would make it too easy.

The truth is they have too many guns but it’s a cash cow. Blackout was perfect because all the guns were balanced and you had to build your weapons but all the attachments had equal effect. The gun balance on this is impossible with all the different attachments and effects and time to kill across three different games.
It pisses me off how all my operators and blueprints for warzone are can't be used now.
You can in standard BR, you people must be slow. There's literally 2 BRs right now, Vanguard Royale and regular Battle Royale

I just don't like that the entire map is in the jungle. You have some isolated little areas, and then massive amounts of jungle between everything. There's just not a lot of options in the map.
The pacific was full of jungle I don’t see the problem...have you even explored the full map yet it’s been a few days
@@dylanmoran8467 I'm talking about gameplay, not historical accuracy. The gameplay aspect makes a map with 80% jungle a little boring and repetitive.
Eventually, running through a mile of jungle to avoid the gas and getting sniped by someone camping in the circle is going to become pretty boring. With Verdansk, you could at least move from building to building in most of the map.

Aiiighttt, here's where I'm at with the update+new map+new weapons... I'm intentionally gonna be late to the party. When Cold War dropped, I slowly converted to Black-Ops weapons from MW weapons (because I'm loyal lol). Was instantly sold on the Mac10 and DMR. However, on Vanguard, I'm not confident in winning any fight with any of their ground looted weapons. It's too much regression in them! WW2 era weapons just aren't as advantageous as modern weapons. They could've easily kept Caldera in the 80's-Present Day imo. So in all, I won't make a Vanguard load out no time soon 👎😌🤷
You guys just have to find to right gun.....remember no more 2 hit melee.. It takes 4 hits wit cali sticks and any melee

I just don't understand why these companies keep making WW2 games. All the modern or pseudo-modern optics, suppressors and random prototype guns that never saw the light of day. Seeing them wearing plate carriers slotting in ballistic plates, it's just Micky Mouse clown shit. If you want modern shit, just use a modern or future setting. Like, what's next? Are we going Call of Duty - War of Independence with our suppressed 4x Scope mounted Muskets? And if you think people won't want to play in a WW2 setting without all the extra fantasy bullshit, why make the game WW2 themed at all? It isn't even just COD that does this. It feels more like an executive boardroom meeting decision than them trying to do a fresh take on WW2. It's stale, it's lifeless, and I don't see this really having that strong of a shelf life. People are going to get sick of this gimmick.
Agreed, as soon as I saw they threw out history completely for the sake of political correctness and then all of the guns were essentially modernized...I said no thanks for me.
