Wow.. Had no idea why yt showed me this, but had no regret at all watching it. Brings me back to how much Helena was a phenomenal song, and the drum piece was obviously a big part of it. It must've felt so good playing it. Awesome!

Was this the same inspiration for the song “Cancer”? I might be melancholic, but something about singing that song makes me feel like I am reaching out from the center of my being. Actually, that might be because suffering is so often overlooked or swept into a box of “bad things to avoid”. Something about My Chemical Romance songs allow the beauty and the humanity to shine through while honoring the suffering that may also be there.
Gratitude for the opportunity to breathe new life into these songs with inspiring drum performances.
