Great intro ... KOCH ... what a massive place ... the in-plant roads alone must have cost a fortune ... 100+ degrees ... wow, that's sit in the shade, feet up and a cold beer weather for me ... noted new in-cab sound, clicking of splitter/range change valves ... hope you're settling into them ... regards from England.
Oh yeah, getting easier, they are a bit more noisy for sure.. It has been really hot as of late.. Hope our crops can weather the heat! Not looking good right now
Not sure Shaun. All our Hopper work is tied in with our liquid and dry fertilizer hauls, “direct customer” so our rates are pretty consistent, as far as grain hauling I’m really not sure buddy!!! Thanks for watching 🚛💨💨💨

Before I retired I used to pick up from Borden Chemical. I remember taking a quiz like that too. Todd Konoske the retired trucker.

Great video Chris! Love the hopper bottom action. Hope to pull a hopper someday!
Thanks Dustin
We are at $6/gal for commercial diesel in Phoenix. Crazy
In the UK it would cost you $10.16 for a US gallon so when Chris topped up the rat rod it would have been just over $2000 ☹️
That’s why nobody likes the UK lol
Hi, thanks for sharing.
Question: is it true Hopper drivers can drive 150 miles without ELD?
Any commercial vehicle can drive 150 mile air radius without a eld 😎
@@806Driver yeah, but if the driver is in FL and her/his base is in IL can't do it.
They load you on a scale there, seeing you didn’t scale in or out? Good video
Product is pre weighed before loading, you just let them know how many tons you want and how you want it split between the two hoppers.
Cool!👍🇨🇱

Quick question Chris, why should you unload the rear hopper first?
We unload the rear hopper first to keep weight on your drive tires so you don’t spin out unloading the second pass 😎
Ohhhh, that makes sense. I appreciate the come back, thanks. Be careful out here.
No problem, thanks for watching 🚛💨💨💨💨
