I dunno if you've already made note of this but Gen's particular scar is unique in that it'll shift around to react with him, becoming more like a malicious and spikey smile when he's being manipulative and even frowning and withering when he's scared
That Mine Craft art was actually straight out of the Manga pages. The Author is a madman on the panels as well. But to me that means even more props to the animation teams for bringing that mind melting art to the anime. The Guy draws that Photo realistic in some scenes and it just blows you away. Just Skim the first 80 chapters not reading just going over the art and you'll get what I mean. I mean photorealistic water shots are just there randomly I have to question the health of such amazing people knowing the time that went into having such skills. Its truly brilliant and the anime makes it plain that its just that good.
fun fact time lot of cases people who were chip wrecked or basically got lost in the wild starved to death surowned by edible food cause they cant get over its taste and the idea of eating something so gross. cause of developments in food , our scenes of whats food and whats not is very narrow. so its very logical that those will a less refined taste buds would enjoy and fall in love with bread even if it was just charcoal at that point but i dint study this stuff just a funfact i remembered
One issue I have with this season is how they had to cut back on how in depth so many of the inventions were. For the first seasons we had long and complicated roadmaps wherein we spent entire episodes getting to just the next step, now we're out here knocking out multiple inventions an episode without going into as much detail. It's great we get to see so much progress but it also diminishes the effect from some of them because we skip over the process. Still great though.
As science advances further, it advances faster too. This isn’t just a quirk of storytelling, this is actually how our history played out. I mean, there’s about as much time between stone tools and copper tools as there is between copper tools and the nuclear bomb. The more science advances, the more tools and resources are available, which makes further advancement easier and faster. It’s a perfect positive feedback loop
@@swordsmancs I have no problem with the rate of development, after all once you have one thing working you can innovate or repurpose it with ease, merely the lack of showing the process rather than "X acquired" without displaying the steps. For example the mine, we go from chrome figuring out how to make a metal detector to suddenly this big fully formed mine complete with whatever is in the middle, minecarts and rails, etc. We don't get to see the individual steps in carving out the mine, crafting the minecart rails, making the minecarts, running the electricity into the mine, and so on. Getting the motorboat, we just all of a sudden have a gasoline powered boat, no crafting process, no distilling of the gasoline with discussion on the process, no crafting of the engine or other components. The antenna is just suddenly put together back at Ishigami village with little fanfare, not any cool crafting montage like the "cell phones" (which are actually just radios).
From what i've seen in the manga (I have only seen the story after this season so i don't know for this part in particular) but in the manga, they just start building stuff faster and faster, with less and less being shown. It doesn't seems to be an anime issue but rather, something coming from the source material itself because as Swordsmancs stated, the more technology progress, the more stuff can be build and they can do it a lot faster. In the case of the mine, we have been shown that they mastered iron casting, electricity and everything needed to build the mine. There is no need to show it to us, we know they can do it with some ease now
This anime is something else. It takes a basic untouched world, and just shows and celebrates the scientific advancements humanity has made. All in a simple manner that you can easily understand, and some Jojo's logic to justify some shortcuts. Like sure, Tsukasa can one-punch a Lion and the old craftsman can craft anything as long as he knows how, but it's all to keep the story going forward.
So glad to see Dr. Stone back. It's such a blast of an anime and there are many cool things and twists up ahead in the story from here. Hope you'll continue.
There is no real revelation to Francois gender, but if you think about that Butlers are mostly Males and that Ryuusui doesnt want to see any girls cry, its possible, that Francois had a hard time becoming a butler as a girl, which lead to a lot of tears, but in the end managed to overcome everything and to honor this Ryuusui feigns ignorance about her gender.
francois could also be non-binary, something not really recognized in japan, but Ryuusui, being such a classy guy, respects it. But like you said, there's no real revelation either way.
I'm so happy this is back on the channel. Also, that 2nd thing isn't a jojo reference. As far as I know, it's just a reference to the bancho lifestyle in japan in general. I could be wrong about that, but I know it's definitely not jojo.
Francois (you know who I mean her name is murder on my memory)... is the best tho. The more I see her in the manga the more she feels like "another layer of paint/lacour/adhesive" What I mean is she just keeps holding everything together better than before. Senku may be the heart/brain of the crew but He is not the all needed glue. He also does not try to be. Fran on the other hand is Ultimate Butler/Maid/Secretary sort; such a blindingly brilliant jenny of all trades that she manages to even master a few. Ryusui on the other hand I saw as adding a second Senku to the party but not like Chrome. Rather he is like the attitude of Senku being added a second time as Chrome is like the adding the love of science a second time. But Fran is up there with lil melon head as one of my top 5 and Ryusui is sometimes there unless another takes his 5th place temporarily. Currently known characters in top 5 at the moment is 1) Melon Head 2) Fran 3)Tsukasa 4) Kohaku 5) Ryusui I really like Melon head because she is always useful. Yet arguably the weakest person there and or the most helpless one at any point... yet she always digs into her inner Ussop and pushes past everything to at least try her hardest in everything. Senku is not really on the list as he is our MC and I try not to let Bias place things.
@@superanimeniac Between name and hair style I never saw them as anything different then the animes VA sounds femine; so never noticed different. Finally I just saw them as Ryusui'other half. You sure? I mean not all girls have big chests; so I never use that as the measure (flatness). Or are they "other"? Just does not look male to me. Not to worry Disguises are my weakness in other words I am easily deceived, it does not even need be intentional. I just do not notice the lie is there in the first place (however the mistake is).
@@kodytiffany5686 Francois is a gender neutral name, it's the French version of francis. Also, they very specifically don't gender them in the manga or anime, to the point the crew is confused when they go to free them.
since its not certain when and if you continue with the dr.stones wins i just ask now, anyone else worried about the message "final season confirmed" at the end of the last episode from the second course of the new world part i read the manga and i know what all is there to come, im worried that "the last season" of dr.stone will became a mess like the last season of attack on titan
I think all we will need is part 1 and 2 with part 1 being 24 episodes and part 2 being 13 episodes since treasure Island was only like 13 episodes for a 38 chapter arc
Learning THE SCIENCE! is quite fun. Its super interesting how they are skipping huge sections of human history. Mostly because of their population scarcity.
Give us ova for the dense season 3 since dr stone so popular. U way fanboying lenient i probably halved yours anime wins. Realistic Fiction is dangerous as itacts as a internalised subconscious wrong eg misinformation. I am like magma a realist. I liked it for what it is for japanese counter.

I must have rewatched Dr. Stone at least three times now and I don’t think I’ve ever noticed that, damn good eye

Boichi's art really is something else. But it is sometimes really noticeable that he used to draw hentai.
When the villave first got a light, that was such a great art.

I mean they do have a technology base and a lot more now, so stuff will take less time.
The problem is technology is getting more and more complicated so its not entirely worth it anymore i think

Why-man's introduction gave me chills
It was genuinely creepy

Finally you are covering my favourite anime 3rd season

I don't know why, but I thought you had covered this season already.
Francois is so capable, she should have been included in the Wise General of Science Kingdom lol
You want to know whats crazy both the Japanese and English voices of muyuki from kaguya sama are in both the sub and dub of dr stone
25:13 in ep 1 it said it was gasoline
Did you forget that the OP for Ryusui was the S1 OP repeated haha.
