A Brief History: Alco

In 1969, Anthony Mandala saw a growing need for supplying Institutional grade products to schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. From a humble beginning in Mr. Mandala's basement, Alco's Mandala Brand Products have expanded to two locations. Alco, Chem Inc. continues to be owned and operated by family- Anthony Mandala's children Robert, Luanne and John.
Today, Alco manufactures a broad line of 76 various institutional cleaning products, dietary and laundry products, disinfectants, floor finishes and more. In addition to the products manufactured in house, we maintain an inventory of various other suppliers such as Proctor & Gamble, 3M, Spartan, Georgia Pacific paper, Prolink liners, Fresh Products, Continental, Andersen matting and more.
