John attempts to continue this by using symbolism but the text of the Gospels is not the same as the Torah. So why did Jesus not leave us something to focus on. The temptation of Jesus is found in the Book of John; in the Bible. ***Don't you understand why Jesus was tempted; inpreparation, he was to be Crucified..... because He took on all the sins of humanity onto Himself... Well, there are uncountable types of temptation for one to follow a devil. A devil can propose a beautiful lady offering one an easy sexual service or offer one a lucky fortune of lottery or offer a high rabbi position etc. A devil can tempt one every now and then even including discouraging others to deny Jesus too or do not believe in God that can come down to earth in flesh and blood!

Jesus and the Apostles were Nazarene Jews. Nazarene Jews had the "Clementine Literature" as one of their "go-to" resources. The Clementine Literature are the teachings of Peter, and in the Clementines, Peter comments on this very scenario. Here is the text...note the end of the paragraph. Therefore, our Lord, confirming the worship of one God, answered Satan saying; “It is written, “You will worship the Lord your God, and Him only will you serve.” And Satan, terrified by this answer, immediately resolved to send false prophets, false apostles, and false teachers into this world. Those are they that speak in the name of the Messiah but accomplish the will of the demon because Satan feared that the true religion of the one and true God would be restored. Things to note: 1. Satan tempted Jesus because every other leader he tempted with power, riches, and fame, bowed to him. Jesus did not. 2. Because Satan failed to turn Jesus, Satan resolved to send "false prophets, false apostles, and false teachers" to subvert the teachings of Jesus. Paul falls into note 2 as being a "false apostle" who subverted the Nazarene teachings of Jesus and the Apostles.

Regarding your comment on Paul being a prophet, you can say that he was, according to the Clementine quote in my initial response, after Satan failed to tempt Jesus, Satan resolved to send false apostles to subvert the teachings of Jesus...Paul is one of them. In another chapter of Peter's teachings in the Clementines, Peter states there are only 12 Apostles...there are not 11...nor 13....Paul would make 13. Why is the Rabbi calling Jesus God? Surely that is a blasphemy even coming from him. Is he really so blind as to get it that far wrong? If so, is there any point in listening to him? I am beginning to feel sorry for him that he is so misguided. Genesis 3 :15 tells us that the Messiah will crush Satan. But Satan would strike him in the heel. This was Jesus' temporary death. Logically the Messiah being struck in the heel must come before Satan's death. Satan being finally crushed would be at the end of Jesus' 1,000 year rule of this earth..

JEsus wrote nothing. Paul created Christianity. There is no record of any "Yeshua" messiah. All the NT writers only know him by the Greek name "Iesous". Jesus does not have a Hebrew name. We don't have his actual words preserved - only a Greek rendition by nobody knows whom.

John attempts to continue this by using symbolism but the text of the Gospels is not the same as the Torah. So why did Jesus not leave us something to focus on. The Desciples seem lost and ague over Jesus's message. They dont understand.

Things to note:
1. Satan tempted Jesus because every other leader he tempted with power, riches, and fame, bowed to him. Jesus did not.
2. Because Satan failed to turn Jesus, Satan resolved to send "false prophets, false apostles, and false teachers" to subvert the teachings of Jesus.
Paul falls into note 2 as being a "false apostle" who subverted the Nazarene teachings of Jesus and the Apostles.

I am beginning to feel sorry for him that he is so misguided.
