Probably one of my favorites. Copperfield's heart monitor gag on his Great Wall illusion was a nice touch.
Copperfield's Great Wall trick was performed differently than this trick originally done by Houdini.
I can't be the only one thinking that magicians would make a hell of a lot more money if they showed people how the trick is done towards the end in a live show...they'd be fascinated
Penn & Teller have pretty much become the richest magicians around by essentially doing exactly that.

I remember when this came out in late 97 (David Copperfield used to have magic specials in the 90's). A young street magician David Blaine had a special called Street Magc and Magic man back in May 1997 on ABC. The most interesting part was it was something different than stage magic. No fancy stages, attractive female assistance, music, just close up magic and card tricks.

He put it into his other hand and then concealed it into his right coat sleeve. It's obvious.

It's a neat trick, however, while I know it would be near impossible to this trick without a screen, I've always disliked tricks that involved a screen or a curtain, because it takes away from the thrill. I know that everyone knows that all of the tricks at a magic show are illusions, however, to be fun and thrilling the tricks need to be believable and appear as realistic as possible-when a magician has to hide behind a curtain or screen it takes all of that away.
