Been a minute since I've made a video. It's been a crazy year let me tell you. Between startups failing, job loss, etc... I've been focusing a lot on just getting by in life. Luckily now I have a job and in fact that job will have me making videos for you guys soon enough, so stay tuned. But I made this video as a stepping stone to hopefully get back on track with things here & figuring out how I want to go about making them again. There will be some experimentation here and there, so I'll appreciate any and all feedback. Appreciate you all! Here's to making this next year the best one yet.
Man, this video is a gem! I was thinking about something like this the other day and even made a simple app with it, but this is on another level. Thank you so much for sharing! Now that you’re a macOS developer, please post more content about swift UI with AppKit. Thank you again!
Thanks for the tutorial! I have an idea for an app with a panel featuring a UI similar to Spotlight, Raycast, or Alfred. It would have a floating input field with a visible list of options, allowing users to search through my custom-populated items and select one. I think your tutorial is an excellent starting point for this.
Fala meu querido!
Note for 08:08: If you’ve never used the hotkey before, this repository won’t appear in your recent usage list. Additionally, it’s not immediately obvious how to add a repository. Here is the solution: Instead of searching for hotkey, you need to manually enter the full URL of the repository into the input field.
The repository url is shown in blue on the screen. Unfortunately, I can’t include a direct link here because UA-cam removes comments with links without explanation.

In addition, I'm mainly a MacOS developer these days haha, so if you have anything you want to know there, leave a comment!

Correct. Should’ve made that clear, but the repo is in the description as well if confused on which one to use.
