Schuyler is going to release a bible in a Spanish translation next year, si Dios quiere, so, i hope they decide to go with this same size, because it looks amazing. They have shown images of what the text will look like but the size is not yet defined. And when they do release that bible ill be watching your review if you do it. God bless you.

I knew you weren't done with premiums! Wishful thinking or bold lie, IDK, but I knew. These new versions really do look good, not so much with the zippers, but that's probably what I'll get (for Christmas, assuming any are left). I never tried a zippered PSQ before because they were cramped, looks fixed now. I can't take any of my nice stuff out before bedtime, my toddler and baby will thrash them. Let us know about the page rub in a couple months.

Beautiful bible. If I could change some things, though, I'd remove the concordance and lined paper as I never use them. Also, the one design change I wish Schuyler would adopt for every Bible is to get rid of the chapter breaks completely and just use the running headers to denote the chapter number. You'd know exactly what chapter it was by the running header and the drop cap. For me, I'd also get rid of section headers too. With all that space saved, the gsm could be bumped up to maybe 32 or 36gsm and not make it any thicker. Now, that would be my perfect Bible

I agree with you on the naming, I have most commonly seen personal size refer to a midsize Bible, with smaller being a compact.

I heard it! I did 😁 I've had a small Personal Sized bible (ESV) that I was unable to use because the lettering/font was just too small. I can appreciate the 8.5 font. Text looks very clear and easy to read. Beautiful way they separate the chapters in the books. Thank you for reviewing this gorgeous bible for us. Stay blessed.

You missed the most unique thing about this CSB. You should have told about the reason that there are boldface sentences in the NT.

For people who are thinking about doing Bible journaling, this is an excellent way to dip your toes into the water. I started with the gospel of John and soon found I really liked annotating and adding extra notes in on the blank pages!

i love that you do a stable overhead view. some of the other reviewers hold the bible up to a front facing camera which puts the focus more on them than the product. i want to see as much of the bible as possible in a review so thank you for that! subbed!

I have this Bible, I absolutely love it, but it is hard to read without the magnifying glass.

There's a channel called "Truth is Christ" that I really like which explains why the King James Bible is the best translation! It's really helped my faith, so I thought I'd share it! 😁

I really don’t like when publishers make the verse number red as well. I’m sure it’s easier. But the numbers were added later and therefore not the words of Christ.

I wish more publishers would give more space in the centre at the expense of the outer edges like this. It drives me nuts when the print runs into the gutter. Good review as always, brother.

12 pt. font --- Yes!!! This would be so perfect for my 50+ tired eyes. Elegant cover. Love that it has two ribbons and the gold gilding. This is a bible that you can carry to Sunday services and read along with the message. It's good to underline and perhaps take a notebook to scribble key points that you can come back and add with a sticky note or on your Sunday Message notebook. Well done Holman. I own the NKJV Maclaren thin line in the genuine leather. It is a gorgeous bible. I do own a compact NKJV that I got back in 2007. I believe it has a 7 point font as well, but there was no comfort print. I really like the gold gilt line in the Maclaren compact. Very nice!
