The excitement in that young little man’s voice and emotion when he shot that turkey is better to see than any of the big bucks taken in this video. Congrats to all but especially to that little man. Awesome dude!!!!!!
😂
frfr
yup
They shot of little boy crying , priceless, thanks for sharing!
He will remember that forever its awesome
That was too cool.
No contest, that boy smoking that turkey was the best one.
I'm not crying, YOU'RE crying.
Good work, little man.
Thanks for watching Chris. It was a pretty special hunt for sure.
that shot on that elk that was quarttered away was absolutely insane. so cool to watch that elk drop instantly
Love to see how hunting can bring people and family together so wholesome
And this is how animals go extinct then you wonder why. Thanks for killing off the Tasmanian tiger. 🐅
@@kyori7k I don't think deer are in any danger 💀💀

This video just gave me blue balls for archery season 😭😭😭 I can’t wait!!
Same bro! Can’t wait
Same hear buddy am even using nap slingblades pretty accurate out 40 yards and they are sharp as hell
Looks like im not the only one out shooting my bow already lol
Same...
Holy crap that's funny!!!! True but funny
Not going to lie, turkey hunt hit me right in the feels. Awesome!
I honestly can’t believe some of these hits and these people are killing and finding them. Their catch phrase has been my personal motto for well over 30 years.
Wish I could go out just one more time with my Dad. He's going on 78 and I'm going on 55. Dad can't get around too good anymore. But we had many good hunts in the past! That's what I'm thankful for.
I know how you feel. I lost my dad 5 years ago and what I wouldn't give for 1 more time. Outdoors hunting and fishing, those were our best times. Reminds me of the song by Diamond Rio titled One More Day. 😥
@@otis6791 My Dad still going. His heart is in it, but his body isn't. I am realizing that I have only X amount of hunts left in my body. I really want to exit gracefully. It's not the end of hunting for me yet. But I know that there will be a time where I will have to call it quits. I have no illusions.
I felt the enthusiasm going through that kid, I'm turning 12 this year and I started hunting 6 years ago but never killed anything, we are hunting on a new farm this year and we've seen a huge 14 point on this farm in Michigan! Can you believe that, but we hope to fill a tag this year, good luck everybody!
That's awesome! Good luck Dylan!
Good luck mate, hope you get something this year.
@@nunyabisnass1141 thanks, I got something last year after the comment, but thanks!!
They captured a shot of a little boy crying, absolutely priceless. Thanks for sharing this emotional moment!
THE RACK on that buck at 7:45 IS INSANE and such a perfectly placed shot while it wasn't full broadside my GOD... BEAUTIFULLY DONE
You know that’s a bull elk right
@@HA51971 well other then him saying buck instead of bull, the rest of what he said was said good at least
Has it all! Great deer, family involved, kids!! Perfect!
That elk shot was solid
Little man and the turkey was the best reaction. Love to see it.
Solid gut shot on that buck in the snow. Thank God for expandables
Definitely a little further back than he wanted, but it was a straight liver shot and the buck didn't go more than 80 yards.
I am so thankful for the video slow-motion repeat footage you provide AND for the clear slow look at each rack. You put to shame many popularly televised hunting shows, which IGNORE our desire as hunter to see those DETAILS. Thanks!!!
the kid's joy was so pure omg unforgettable feeling, that!
Wow this video just amped me up for bow season and it starts here on August 15th
Cannot wait to have my own son to experience this with beautiful sight
Love your shows. Love how you play back the shot quick. Great taping look forward to this coming year.
Thanks!
best elk shot
That young man with the crossbow is what the sport is really about
I cant wait for bow and rifle season
That kid smoking that turkey was the best clip. The excitement. It reminds me of my first harvest.
That actually was his first harvest ever.
These father n son videos are tear jerkers for the ones that dnt have ours anymore
Maybe I’m soft, but the laughing at 1:58 was kinda tough to hear. Lot of respect for those deer.
It’s a hunting channel that’s what it’s about
He wasn't laughing at the deer, he was just caught up in the excitement and situation of hunting with his dad for the first time in 20 years. They set the blind out, put up a decoy, and he shot a great buck on the first try. There were just a lot of things that needed to go right for that to happen, and they did.
Im not quite sure that "hunt" was a real hunt, they "meh'd" that big mature deer that should be nice and smart, and then whistled and "meh'd" again, and the deer wasnt even on edge...thats a bit sus
The elk kill was 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾
Can't wait for archery season! I've never had an elk go down as quickly as the one @ 7:30
Bro once that kid shot the turkey my mom woke up from his screaming lol
This is awesome!
If I wasn’t itchin enough to get back in stand. They drop this HOT One.
Incredible video thank you.💪💪💪☝️🆒😎💯👍🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯
BANG!!!!!! I hunt with my son too. This just made my day!!!
Amazing archery...i like it.
Brilliant ...21 days and counting.
4:00 the little kid emotions were so adorable ❤
Awesome video. That second buck looked like it weighed 300 lbs. I wouldn't want to drag that. Well, yeah I would lol.
You could literally see the air come out on the first deer insane
At 1:55 the Buck was twearking! 😆
“Should I shoot through the tree?” “You have a crossbow…duh! You can do anything”
um... I don't think you understand how arrows ballistics work
My first archery season this year hoping I can get m a good shot like all of these
I’m all for hunting, don’t get me wrong. But I have never searched for anything hunting related and this just popped up on my feed.
UA-cam is scary
That Elk was like... Naaaah I ain't even gonna run!
Watching this from the stand as motivation to stay up here for the day
Epic! Nice shooting
AKA anti coffee add LMAO. Nice video enjoyed it. Just bought a Wicked Ridge Blackhawk 360 yesterday it's incredibly accurate excited about this coming season! Thanks agai for a wonderful video!
Hell yeah that got me fired up!
Atta boy Matt
That kid that shot the turkey is absolutely adorable!! Congrats little man!
Omg the Kermit the frog "mep" at 6:49 😆
Nice shot little man, well done indeed.
Thank you Lord for all the deer, and thank you deer for all your sacrifice, fed and clothed a lot of folks.
All you guys are awesome. Wish I could find someone to teach me how to shoot
We've got a full section on our website called "Bowhunt 101" with tons of great info and tips to get started! - www.bowhunting.com/bowhunt-101/
Go out to a pro shop and have them set you up with a bow that fits you and get lots of arrows.... Start with some targets at 10 yards and move out only after you get a good form together, and shooting groups that are 5" and under then your on your way. Their are classes in most states that you can take as well they will really help you get that form together than I'm taking about. Hope that you stick will archery once you get into it. Just take it slow and don't over think it... Good luck
@@normankaster917 thanks alot!!! How much does a set up might run. I love watching the sport. I grew up watching shows old viking movies and Robin hood lol
@@Mr.JayOutdoors if you have a bass pro or Cabela's close to you go check them out. They have plenty of RTS packages " ready to shoot" that you can look at try and buy. Ball park you will probably be spending $350 to $450 for a starter bow. Or like other guy said see if theres a pro shop near you and might be able to get a used set up for a little cheaper.
@@Mr.JayOutdoors my current bow is a bear cruzer g2, it’s a ready to hunt package that comes with everything you need for about 400. Have had it for a few years and get good groupings at 60 yards and have taken a couple black bears with it
Amazing 👏
Great shot but a beautiful deer what are you running for a scope on that crossbow
Love your excitement and high- fiving after the kill. I believe I may have seen you on a Mossy Oak video ???
I don't condemn hunting, I think it's a great way to get outside and meet a lot of good people. My Dad was legally blind. I'd encourage it!! * I call myself an armchair hunter that 💘 to wear camouflage. Best type of clothing I ever chose to wear every day.
Florida Zone A starts July 30
Cannot wait!
It is amazing to me how often we shoot back on the animal ( don't mean when quartered away). Full broadside and quartered to, we shoot back. I wonder if we just get scared and go for center of mass.
Most bad/off shots do tend to be back, towards center mass as opposed to shoulder shots.
Shot the “vital V”….
Don’t be scared! Shoot adult arrows!!
🤣😂
@@andyjones3934 Agreed. That is mostly my point. So many of these shots looks back to me.
This was awesome!
Thanks!
Equipment used? Broadhead and arrow you list in some.
now that I think about it. These hunters are the equivalent to our Skinwalkers. Making calls and sounds that the animals would recognize as one of their own only to kill them.
Awesome
It always amazes me when I watch these videos how many guys got busted by deer and it not run off !! Very first deer winded guy n just stood there !!!! Here n Ohio even the yearling wldve bolted…. Must b no hunting pressure? Or used to ppl?
2 things on that first buck. 1 - It didn't wind him. Just noticed something different, or might've seen movement and looked up. 2 - He was right on the tail of a doe at the beginning of November. Typically bucks don't spook as easily if the doe doesn't get spooked.
They are tame deer, period
@@hellospring433 They are not, period. 😄
@@bowhuntordie Your not fooling anyone. They are TAME, period.
Deer farm maybe? 🙄
I had to miss all of fall archery this year because all of my camo Sitka clothing was stolen. I just couldnt go set in the stand and let the deer think i was poor.
😂
Somthing they don’t show is the years of near nothing for this one moment.
It takes hard work
5:23 made me laugh because of that noise
There was some good shots in this video. I'm surprised someone hasn't said something about the slight quartering to shots yet. You always have a few mention them. They were good shots. What was up with that deers back at around 6:00 mark it looked nasty.
Yep, glad these guys got their deer. So many hits high and back. Getting some high lung it appears. Thinking that buck with his back ripped open as rifle shot maybe by some idiot ?..
I don't believe we could ever find out 100% what happened to the bucks back. But it's believed that he was either shot with a bow or hit by a car earlier in the season, since it was shot in early November before gun season.
what a shot!! 10:00 minutes
How come you shot the first one in daytime and recovered it at night? Did you continue hunting or just wait for it to die? I don't get it (Im not a hunter, sorry if this is a dumb question)
Matt shot him in the afternoon, and unless you actually see the deer fall over, you want to wait to go track him. If you go too early, and your shot wasn't as good as you think, they may be bedded down. You run the risk of startling the deer and it running away, which could be very bad for tracking them. It's always better to be on the safe side. Patience is key.
Most likely gave it time to die so he doesn't spook it while trying to recover it if it isnt dead yet
5:23 What is on his back? ~ 7:56 Whoa! What happened that he dropped right on that spot? ~ I keep hearing about Quarter Shots. What are they? ~ It is fabulous when you get your shot. It is also fabulous when you can see him go down.
I like this videos and I'm having this question in my mind all the time "What happen with the animal's when they don't go down?"
they just live injured, but they mostly die shortly
Nice 👍🏻
I wish hunting was that easy in washington 😂
ITTSSSS TTTTTTTIIIIMMMEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
That got him!!!
Talk about some HAMMERS
good job to you..... hunting
How big was that buck around the 8 minute mark looked huge!
That was an elk!
@@bowhuntordie thank u for the clarity as you can clearly tell haven't seen much where I'm from
The first one just accepted it
Also got to see a few lucky slop shots lol
What brand blind is at 3:21? Awesome video!
That is the Soft Side 360 made by Muddy Outdoors.
Some things are just meant to be. Like the deflection at 2:58 into the heart lol
C'mon oct 1!! 🦌🦌🦌
Great video content. Unlike most other videos I’ve seen with that annoying music in the background.
Nothing better than the sounds of nature!
i like this vdio
its okay to be excited but be humble , this is one of Gods living Magestic creatures . Praise God its not funny to Kill just to kill .
🏹
Great shots, one question from a noob like me: what do you do with the whole animal besides eating the meat?
I just really want some venison, man.
4:02 this looks like some diagnose that runs in family. Sick
I can't believe that third arrow hit that limb and still hit that buck dang near perfect! Never happens that way
He definitely lucked out on that!
What was the target for the shot at 2:50 ? heart? I've never seen that angle before
How were you able to use a crossbow in Colorado during archery elk season? It's illegal
Are they mostly active just before sunset or why are so many "prize shots" in the dark?
Yes, they are active the most at daybreak and dusk.
I thought this was bow kills? Second one was a crossbow…which of course were all in agreement that it’s not a bow..
If it's permitted to use during archery season, I'd believe it'd be considered a bow 🤷♀️
not everyone can draw back a hunting weight bow
Cross.. B O W, Cross.. B Ø W
Bow - a device used for shooting arrows.
"bUt cRosSbOwS shoOt bolTs!"
Bolt - a short, heavy arrow fired from a crossbow
A crossbow is a horizontal bow with a locking mechanism. It doesn't make it inherently easier to kill a deer. They are permitted for use in *archery* seasons, and you just need a specific license for use of one
Quick question. Does this hurt the deer?
Did something teat open the deer at 6:03?
Are the arrows passing straight through the deer? Not sure what i'm seeing
Yes, an arrow passing through is ordinarily an ideal outcome. You are seeing the lighted nock on the back of the arrow disappear as it passes through.
3:54 😢❤
