"Summer is like five-six months in Poland"?? I'd be happy to live in such a subtropical place. My minimum requirement for a "summery day", meaning light clothes, full relaxation, beaching, swimming etc., is 23 degrees Celsius (in the shade). Well, statistics show that in the last full decade (2011-2020) Warsaw had only 82 days at/above 23 degrees in the whole year on average. Not even three months. And that's the warmest decade on record! The previous one (2001-2010) had only 71 summery days on average, or little above two months. Looking yet deeper into history, it was even worse than that. 😯 However, now June has begun and summer officially is here, so Warsaw's outdoor swimming pools are inaugurating the season this weekend. My favourite is Moczydło in the Wola district, I highly recommend it on hot days. 😊
