- The last of our six day Glen Affric adventure, tackling the Mullardoch 4, An Socach, An Rhiabhachan, Sgurr na Lapaich & Carn nan Gobhar, the weather looked so promising coming along the loch on the Loch Mullardoch Ferry Service (Angus) but a couple of hours in the conditions changed and steadily got worse throughout the day, certainly a test of character but we lived to tell the tale, myself & @hikingwithfrank315 that is, another adventure & 12 Munro's bagged in 6 days, so well chuffed.
It all started out so well Brian! From the conditions when you got off the boat i wouldn't have guessed what came next! Absolute cracking video all things considered mate! Another 4 in the bag mate and you looked tired at the end! Tired but happy.😁😁😁paulo
Can't believe how everything turned on it's head from such a beautiful start in the morning ☀️ so promising but alas it is Scotland 😂 aye absolutely shattered but delighted at the same time in the end, pleasure and pain 😁 I think 🤔 you need to be a bit of a sadist to bag the Munro's 😂 cheers Paulo atb Brian 👍

Aye the boat 🚢 was the biz mate saved a couple of hours there, but by the time we were onto the third Munro 🏔️ the weather was horrendous and the legs were tired after the previous day's walking 🥾 nothing a hot shower 🚿 and a few beers 🍻 couldn't fix though 😉 cheers Murchie atb Brian 👍

Conditions just got worse for you both as the day went on.U looked gubbed on the 4th.Thanks for giving timescales inbetween on your way around.
This is the biggest route I have left and was hoping to go up this weekend but I didn't fancy the forecast.Mammoth trip away for you both getting the 12 done.I would need more rest days inbetween.

@@thelifeofbrian282 Can I just add that I also find it very usefull. So your 'speaking clock' is definitely a bonus - only my clock seems to run a bit slow in comparison, so I'll have to factor that in 😉

@thelifeofbrian282 we got to top of great gable, supposed to be awesome views, all we saw was clouds🤣, we still conquered the mountain though, happy adventures👍

@@thelifeofbrian282 Tam aka 'TheMunroBagger' did them some time ago with a mate. They walked anticlockwise like on Walkhighlands and then camped somewhere low after the furthest Munro. Next day they walked out along the shore path.
Yes Tam and Scott did them anti clockwise plus a low camp 🏕️ I didn't fancy carrying the extra weight Karl or the walk along the shore 😂👍
Brilliant Brian, what a day it was eh, started off brilliantly then deteriorated rapidly once high up. Got worse as the day went on. Still had a fab time tho, and a great edit mate.
