For someone who has never seen snow, you nailed it! It is beautiful. You are a very talented young man and it is wonderful to watch you make all the colors with such a limited palette. Love watching you.

One of the most beautiful winter wonderland paintings. Learned a lot. I do hope and wish you can see this in real Lisondra!!!
John - for someone who only saw snow in pictures, you have done a fabulous job! The house looks like a little chalet! The smoke coming out of the chimney is a nice touch. I love it! 💕
Very beautiful, you will have go on vacation and go and see the snow. Make sure you have lots of heavy clothes. It may look beautiful but it is very, very cold. You did a wonderful job. Awesome painting. Love it.
thank you very much Tina.. Yes that would be my problem with cold places.. I almost can't even stand out with just 10 degrees... and I know it will be hard below that..
One of the most beautiful winter landscapes I have seen makes me longing for christmas :)
thank you very much! Christmas is coming :)

This is a very convincing winter scene, John... kahit hindi ka pa nakakita ng tunay na snow, hehe! Love it!
maraming salamat po Maam.. sana in the future.. :)
PRECIOSO !!! ME GUSTAN LOS PAISAJES NEVADOS COMO SI VIVIERA DENTRO DE ELLOS . HE DISFRUTADO UN MONTON VIENDO COMO SE CREABA ESTE , ENHORABUENA POR TANTA IMAGINACIÒN
Muchas gracias Francisca. Me alegro de que te guste.
Hi JM. Beautiful painting and thank you for the lesson. I hope you get to see snow for real one day. Just know it will be cold. I like to get away from the snow and go south when it comes to warm up.
you're welcome Deb and thank you very much! Yes hopefully someday I can touch it. I am skinny and I don't know if I can endure a very low temperature... :)
Well, if you ever do get the chance wear layer's of clothing so if you get hot you can take off a layer of clothing or put more layer's on if you get cold. Keep moving to keep the blood flowing through your body...and just stay out little bits at a time so you don't catch a chill in your body.
thank you for that tips... It might be hard for me.. lol
wonderful job. Thee painting is beautiful.

Hey, hello! Can you tell me what are you using for base on the canvas? I mean, it is obvious that this is canvas, but do you put something on it for a base, before you start your painting?
yes, 3 coats of gesso for my primer. you can also use white acrylic.
Thank you!

That snow on the trees is much harder to get right than it looks...
Just try it and retouch it when it seems off...
i wanna ask u plz how do u make ur acrylic doesn't dry so fast ? .. and what brand r u using for acrylic plz ?
I just mixed it with enough water to make it a little wet and smooth enough to apply... make sure that the surface of your canvas is also smooth. I mostly used reeves and liquitex basics acrylics
