Absolutely inspiring! I've been looking for particular extension ideas for Monica's apartment based on Central Perk. It would be fascinating to add that level to create another masterpiece!
I had the friends set already and just bought the other parts separately from bricklink. There are some Chinese knock offs selling it as a complete set but the designer doesn’t get any money for it and you don’t get Lego genuine parts
Lepin or third parties are selling this as a whole set... I think this would be a bit too expensive to replicate if you had to part out the remaining bricks. But man that looks very pretty

Yeah you could add another level, was waiting for the MOC designer to release an update but not sure he will do may have to do something myself

Why exactly wouldn’t the “New York” setting suit Big Bang theory? Both were filmed in the same place using a lot of the same actual locations
The Big Bang programme is set in Pasadena in California and friends in New York so they shouldn’t technically be together in one building :)
