i feel like the relation of the other wonder characters to wonder woman are more about sisterhood: than them being her "daughter". so her having an actually daughter just adds to diana's mythos, than detracting from her. anyways, i like her having a daughter. and i know, like all things on social media, there are some fans that don't. edit now hear me out, one can look at her having all of these wonder characters as her making her own amazons. because we know the amazon back on the paradise island aren't her's, but her mothers or nubia at the moment. so diana having her own amazons in the wonder characters is reflective of her mother. and just like her mother, she also gains a daughter in the near future. also she already views the wonder characters as sisters if you read greg rucka's first arc on wonder woman called Hiketeia.
I thought Tom did mention her indirectly in the last interview? He said a new character would be coming in WW800 and that the hierarchy of the DCU was about to change
The "Immortal" moniker really seems like going back to the roots of the immortalised character -- for Hulk it was horror/monsters, for Thor it'll be Kirbian takes on Norse mythology and the "real nature" of those myths (if I know Ewing) Ewing is just THE guy when it comes to trawling through comic continuity and history and finding the root and heart of the character. Hulk, Ant-Man, and The Wasp have shown this. It'll be a few years before we get Immortal Avengers but that'll be sublime.
Honestly I see potential for a interesting character and great story. Here my idea… The way she acts and conducts herself is act. Because in truth she is incredibly insecure. She wants to make her mom proud and live up to both her standard and legacy. While also not wanting to end up like her siblings, Fury(if she’s even still canon) whose dead, and Hunter, who is a villain. So what does she do? She pushes herself and sacrifices everything for perfection. And this leads to many problems for her and others as she tries to be the absolute very best at things she isn’t even skilled in; like blacksmithing, masonry, construction, mechanics, engineering, etc. Eventually she ends up pushing herself too far, well past the breaking point, and is on the verge of falling to madness. Her desire to prove herself ends up leading to the deaths of other people, including those closest to her. And when Wonder Woman (finally) steps in we learn that Diana was always proud of Trinity. That she never need to prove anything to anyone. She was already and always quote-on-quote “perfect” just the ways she was. This sends Trinity into a spiral as she is not only told she did everything for absolutely nothing, but now has to face the consequences of her own actions and selfish behavior. And in the end she comes to be more well rounded and humble. As she learns a lesson that we all have to learn eventually… That thing *can* and *will* go wrong, that she is *not* all powerful, that she messed up or even failed entirely but it doesn’t make her a lesser person and can both learn from this and grow as a person, and last but not least; that self validation is just as valuable, if not more valuable, than external validation. Honestly I think with the right minds and good enough writers, she can come to be a genuinely good edition to Wonder Womens lore.
I been a Wonder Woman fan sense her first movie and I just hope that Wonder Woman, Donna Troy, Cassandra Sandsmark, Artemis, Yara Flor, Hippolyta and Trinity will be written well having their own stories.
What’s interesting about Wolverine is that Percy left some future writer or himself a way to make beast not evil again. Cause he took all of his recent data except for his Avengers era. So that’s a way to reboot him if they want to. Also I like the tension between Beast Prime and the other beasts
I always thought they should have continued Green lantern as two books, one about the corp, and one about Earth, you could have a rotating cast and maybe have the space book be more about DC cosmic, and allow every Human lantern some spotlight.
Maybe DC should create a parallel universe where Superman has twins and Wonder Woman and her wife have a son with the name John. Meanwhile Batman and Catwoman have a daughter who is Batwoman. So we have a "normal" universe and a "fantastic" universe where we see new thrilling things.😉
See, I thought King mentioned how in WW 800 there’s a preview for his book and “a brand new character will be making an appearance.” So he just wasn’t telling the truth.
Man the recommendations really made me want a show called " I'll be damned if I read that" and it would just be Sal naming books and saying the shows namesake.
I find it weird people who love Damien are saying Wonder Woman having a biological daughter is forced, I always wanted this since super sons was announced, admittedly I wanted a son just for that story potential of a boy growing up on Paradise Island I'll take Lizzie.
well i'm one of those fans that like damien and like that wonder woman has her own daughter. i do like that in the near future, damien becomes batman and has his trench coat look: in the preview image of the future generation of the trinity
It’s slightly different for the male heroes since they don’t get pregnant. It’s just a story thing. It’s why pregnant Spider-Woman was just weird to me. Like you should NOT be fighting crime in that condition even if you’re super powered
Nothing makes me more nervous than Tom King writing Wonder Woman. Sometimes he is great. But his stories in mainstream continuity in DC, tend to be more damaging than i care for. Imo of course. There are high spot in his Batman run, and i like Mister Miracle.
Just got back from my LCS and if anyone’s wondering what this new comic fan picked up, I got Titans #1, Cyborg #1, Superman #4, Batman batb #1, and Superboy (Jon) #2
And on the marvel side I got she-hulk #13, GotG #2, Dr. Strange #1 from a few weeks ago (loved the second issue Tiff recommended), the new avengers #1, and the first Ms Marvel trade
@@Ili-v4z True, it's just I feel making Zeus the father is unnecessary and cliche when Diana already should have divine heritage even with the clay origin. Ares was Hippolyta's father in the myths

Forgot Nubia but so does DC

I'm sad they ended the GLC book since it was a good way to use the other Green Lanterns.
People keep trying to make the Wonder Family a thing and it keeps failing
i actually do like the wonder family.
Apocalypse is coming back? Oh, please let Tiff go back to saying “Apocalypse: And What He Doin’?” 🤣

She actually has a son too, they did that alternate dimension of kids a few years ago...Hunter Prince.

Been waiting for Wonder Woman to get a daughter
I found comic pop because of Benny and rob. I love listening to stories at work lol
It looks like Logan is either rushing to A, ambush you both or, B, is rushing to give me a hug!
If so then the DC trinity would be complete with each of them having a legit kid.

Love the videos as always! Tiffany that hat is amazing where did you get it???

Hello, I am the dad I can confirm this
Wait...Sal said if the salesman showed up he's getting curb stomped!? Does Sal still watch wrestling? Is he a Seth Rollins fan!?
Wonder women's daughter?
You mean fury? Lol
At least Daniel Sampere is amazing
Honestly, I think parenthood suits Superman. Not so much Batman or Wonder Woman.
