Theaters traditionally have ghost lights for a reason! We leave a light on for the ghosts to perform shows from the afterlife. I'm not sure when or where the tradition started, but theatre people in general are extremely superstitious.
True to that,, I’m still afraid to say the m name on performance nights
i was always told that the ghosts lights are for the ghosts of the theater, and also to make sure that none of the cleaning crew for the theater fall into a trap door or some stage decorations due to the dark. no idea if that’s the ONLY reason but that’s what my old theater teacher told me
@@lonnie4689 I'm sure the traditions vary theater to theater.
@@kaleidoscopekayley probably wouldn’t surprise me, just didn’t know if this was something others had heard
@@maisieaverie6424 what is the m name??idk abt it and im curious do you think you could tell me abt it?
The "hello" from the ice cream truck music is normal. I'm 36 years old and remember hearing it as a kid as young as 10 years old, maybe younger.
Came to say the same thing, my neighborhood has one too that does that as well and it's really odd but it's a thing. My neighbor is an ice cream man and he actually drives said truck.
ayo im 16 and i remember it when i was like 5, thats when i knew to grab my dad/mom whoevers house i was at and got ice cream
what if its a sort of like a fever dream where kids could only hear it
samee maybe its a canadian thing? who knows.
@@i4cassie lol the ones in my city (Pensacola Florida) still play the “hello” 🤣
Omg the one with the lights was terrifying!! Especially when the light in the room turned on and it was dark outside the door omfg I damn near had a heart attack
maybe I'm tripping but I swear i was hearing footsteps at that point in the video too
My dog didn't like that one and left the room.
was it just me or did you hear "bye" in that video that didn't sound like the person's voice
@@randomcornflake9989 I had my captions on and I thought I hear "bye" too and the automated caption picked it up as well. It had "bye" at the bottom of the video right when I heard it.
I literally had to close my eyes I was terrified LMFAO
The ice cream truck that goes by my house always says “Hello”. It has been doing that for as long as I can remember. I think it’s normal...
Yes same for me I grew up in Ohio
Thank you!

I mean normal….until it comes from the woods lol that’s not normal
As someone who just graduated with her theatre degree, I can't tell you how many times I've heard "every theater has a ghost." I've always believed it, but that theater is the first I've seen so much activity in
It really doesn't help Theatre people tend to be superstitious, even if you don't buy into the traditions its sacrosanct to purposefully break them. (Break a leg, Scottish play etc.)
@@lolaf1er plus never saying the name of the play till the last day or after the last show

Hi hi! I'm an archaeologist and as far as the "ribcage bone in the ground", tiktok, I truly think that's just bit of fibrous root or soil scaring. It looks too thin, too white, and too close together for it to be bone- even if it was a small skeleton, the ribs would have to be unbroken for them to be that close together. It's very rare for ribcage to still be articulated like that (usually, dirt and time would break or fraction the bone by time for it to be all the skin to have been decomposed. So instead of an intact ribcage, the bones would be broken off from the spin and sternum.)
I think it's probably some plant material! If it's not plant and he is that far down: it's maybe some silt soil distributed! That base soil looks to be a clay loam (7.5 YR 6/4) with a lot of silt mixed in, so it's maybe just a weirdly uniform soil distribution. we see it a lot!! obviously, i can't be totally certain without being there and I can only speak to my own experience, but I'm fairly confident that it's totally innocuous :) (sorry for the essay lol i just love my job)
(though educational note: if you ever are digging and see something that seems suspicious STOP! and call your state archaeologist or the archaeology department of your nearest university! They can come and help you to make sure nothing gets disturbed or destroyed!)
I thought this too. And if you look at the next video from them, it is very clearly just roots
Super interesting, thank you for the insight!
Is it normal to find a whole(?) Pelvic bones? We live in Florida and went on a trail to find a huge white bone what I thought was a skull was actually pelvic possibly of a deer. I assumed it was so clean because it was directly in the sun not in the dirt but on top. Do you think that's natural or placed there?
I was today years old when I learned that my state has an archeologist
*Agrees in anthropologist*
In that tiktok of the dude burning sage while walking down to his basement as he’s going down the steps and turns the light on you can see a figure move to the other side of the wall separating the stairs from the whole basement- start at 17:57 and just watch the dark figure by the corner of the wall that dude needs a new house that’s creepy-
I hate that
I turned up my brightness to see it and oh my goddd, this has given me goosebumps. I need to download tiktok just to check him and his dog ae doing alright.
That’s what i saw only, i didn’t see the face they talked about
@@narjisselhajji what really helped me was turning the speed of the video down to around 0.5. It's difficult because literally milliseconds before the guy turns on the light it steps behind the wall and out of sight. If you like feeling scared check out his other videos on tiktok, there are MUCH more obvious ones where you can see the same figure standing behind his couch in the TV reflection or moving down the stairs in a very... un human way.
Carys James thank you so much i’ll definitely check him out
My dad works in a theatre, and I've been going there regularly since i was a kid, and the ghost lights are super duper common! A previous commenter explained why, but in my dad's theatre, there's curtains at the back behind all the seats, and sometimes they hear laughter before they see the curtains ripple, and then a shape appears under the curtains that makes it look like someone is hiding under them. Of course, when they check, there's no one there, but they call her Miranda (I'm not sure why) and it's not irregular to see people playing hide and seek with her using different curtains in the auditorium
The "hello" is very normal, as a kid growing up I spent a lot of time in summer at a park near my house because they had a camp where they'd watch your kids and do activities and ice cream trucks were there almost everyday! The "hello" always played.
I actually never heard a "hello" from the ice cream truck growing up.
Hello is also normal in the area I am in!! I have heard it for YEARS! I think the scary part of it of it is just, being alone and the music coming from the woods 😳
Yeppp
Ya an ice cream truck came by my house a few days ago and it had a weird hello

17:59 you can clearly see a figure at the bottom of the stairs but when he turns the lights on it’s gone. spooked me to say the least
It seems too staged for me, but I agree that it's creepy.
It looks like a whole person. Could have been hiding behind that big thing in the corner of the basement but either way still spooky especially if he wasn’t having any guests over
As someone that has worked in archaeology and has excavated burials, I can say, no those do not look like ribcage bones. They look like roots.
17:36 I think that's the dog crying and that's why he immediately tried to run upstairs. I mean... if that was my dog crying I would DESTROY that demon
A dog crying or .my nieces screaming.
same. no one and no nonphysical entity/demon messes with my pets without getting destroyed
That sounds too human to be a dog. That sounds like an adult woman, not a dog.
Didn't sound like a dog
I thought it sounded like a woman laughing
I have a haunting story. at my Dads girlfriends house we often smell cigarette smoke and the t.v turning on and off, when no one in the house smokes and we smell Chanel 2 perfume. her mom was a heavy smoker and would always wear that perfume. when i stay the night I hear footsteps when I'm the only one awake, we also think there is a little boy who lives in the bathroom very friendly plays with the doors and cabinets, they both seem really peaceful so we don't mind no bad things have happened yet. I have one more that came to mind at my dads house sadly the old man next door passed he was not found until a few days later from the day he passed for almost one year our lights would randomly turn on and off as well as the tvs it just stopped but still happens from time to time
I came across “you’re nothing special” last week and was so damn confused🤣
I feel bad for how hard I laughed at it
The “Hello?” Sound in ice creams truck songs is normal it’s just different because the music stops and the audio gets fuzzier giving the illusion it’s coming from a speaker or phone
Ok same! Ours did growing up in central texas. Idk if it’s the beginning or end of the loop, But I know my friend didn’t hear it for awhile b/c they lived in a smaller neighborhood with more businesses. Ours was just houses so the ice cream man let it loop all the time but turned it off/ on when on normal streets / around businesses
@@cheyannerodriguez7400 same it happened in my neighborhood whenever the ice cream truck came around in florida. Maybe they do that music in the south or its just a normal thing that most ice cream trucks play
The hello has always been a normal thing ever since the later 90s I can remember it. It was in both VA & SC
Yes, ice cream truck is normal and not scary at all.
Same in Maryland on my old city it was normal for the ice cream truck to have the little “hello”
The hello is normal but I think the creepier part is that he’s in the woods and there’s ice cream truck music playing lol
Not normal for Philly
We have it in Ohio I think it’s a new thing because I’ve never really heard it until recently
We have had our ice cream trucks in texas do that as long as i can remember
never in my life have I heard it
Yeah it felt like maybe the person in the truck was trying to lure kids into the woods
I do love "scary" videos, but I used to live in a house that was on par with the Amityville house. It was so demonically haunted, that people who normally didn't feel energies never wanted to set foot on the property. Scratching in walls, walls bleeding, hand prints, something holding you down in bed, visuals of legions of spirits, opening and closing of doors during day and night, smell of decay, pets getting sick and mysteriously dying... it goes on and on. I am grateful to have left that house behind. So, not many videos scare me these days.
Props to you. I would not be able to do that.
Lol yes the “hello” is normal. That’s actually our regular ice cream truck music in L.A. Hispanic neighborhood.
Fr! I live in Compton and I’m used to it😂✌️
I live in Georgia it’s definitely normal lol.
Lmao, I live in South Central. Its a daily thing out here😂
From Boyle Heights and I haven't heard the ice cream man in a while actually 🤔. Super normal out here tho
In south L.A. we sometimes hear the "hello" ice cream truck music at 11pm on a week night lol Is that creepy?
the gray screens for netflix are actually normal. the hype house show that’s coming to netflix has a gray screen and has no trailer either and that’s an actual show which means the “open your eyes” and “your life is a joke” ones are either shows or movies that don’t have trailers yet. hope that helps!

Hehe, i kid, I just like to tease my American friends. I dont even want to think about the potential ghosts in this house!
I used to see peculiar shadows all the time growing up that was normal to me. They varied from regular looking shadows in impossible places, shadow people just chilling in dark room, to the smokey looking shadows that covered every surface day or night and it freaked me out a bit
But nothing will ever scare me more than the little barefoot ginger girl in a white dress leaning against my desk that filled me with immense fear and dread. I learned what it felt like to be a deer in the headlights cuz I was frozen for a good bit of time.
Still can't remember her face which is weird cuz I distinctly remember her looking at me and I also don't remember anything covering her face not even hair but every time I try I just can't
I jolted up from my sleep unexpectedly and it's like my inner self just kept screaming "danger" and when I followed the uncomfortable feeling with my head it was like I was got caught in the scream of a redead from the legend of Zelda lol worst night I'll ever have.
But I've seen plenty of other things at night after moving outta that house like in my friend's house apparently I saw a dead relative of theirs looking at the younger one as he went upstairs. The “Hello” in the ice cream mans theme song is normal. Whenever that dude comes driving around my apartment complex, I hear it all the time.
Wait what, you get ice cream around your apartment? I don't that's for sure
Thank God the "hello" from the icecream truck is normal because i remember hearing that when i was bike riding with my cousin at 11:30 at night and it terrified us
Our ice cream trucks do say “hello” in between the music... but never from the woods?
It was probably near the woods, since most of them tend to be loud.
if it was actually coming from the woods its very well possible that it could be a sex trafficking/kidnapping strategy
@@samantha7603 😟😟😟😟 oh
In Texas, the "Hello" was the friendliest sound we could hear in our neighborhood, letting us know the ice cream was coming to save us from the heat lol
All my life, I've grown up with our icecream truck with the "hello" in the middle of the song. I do have to admit that it didn't used to be that specific version of the song, but like someone else said, it's creepier that's it's coming from the woods 💀
Okay here is a story time about the “hello” from the ice cream truck song. This was a month ago and I was woken up by a strange sound and I couldn’t really hear it since I’m half asleep. When I fully wake up I hear screaming and yelling of this girl screaming. She sounded like she in her early 20’s and she was screaming “HELP” “GET AWAY” “PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME”. I did check the outside of my window because that’s where I hear the screaming and I see no one and that’s when the screaming stops. I then go back to my bed then the screaming started again. The screaming happened for 5 more mins then I just hear crying. Then I heard an ice cream truck song playing which I have gotten use to since the ice cream truck comes around 12 am or 11 pm but this was around 3 am which made me kinda scared. I told my mom above it and she said she heard a little scream but she probably thinks someone was playing a video game. I didn’t do anything since I’m still a kid and didn’t know what to do. Last night this time I heard a man screaming which only lasted a minute or two and I remembered that the ice cream truck pass by before the screaming at the same time I heard the women screaming. I was planning to do some research if a women went missing near were I live or if unfortunately killed.

Netflix thing is real, but nothing strange.. they're actual shows to be released at some point, a bit creepy though how they show up together considering their titles are a bit uh dark... gotta admit.
I looked for them today and couldn’t find them, idk if they took them off or if it’s just I’m certain areas
They’re still there, you have to find them each specifically. If you put “you’re” you’ll get “you’re nothing special” if you scroll down a bit but the others you put the name in. I’m spooked asf that they’re still there at this point but not up yet I guess. Also, why aren’t there any other things like these?

That's sooo true
Theaters are incredibly underrated as haunted/creepy places. I studied theatre in college and it was widely accepted that ours was haunted. For one, there was a poltergeist called Chester on the main stage, and in the lower levels were what we called the caves where props and set pieces were stored. Btw, this theater was built on top of an old well and the remains of it was down there. You’d hear children laughing, hissing, props would come flying out of nowhere, dressing room lights turned on and off.
I would love to hear more about what happens if you don’t mind. I’m a sucker for some creepy stories about theatersz
There are a lot of books about theater ghosts, I don't think they are underrated at all. They get ghost hunters all the time.
North Texas here. As far as I can remember, most ice cream trucks have that “Hello” in the middle of the song.
“hello!” On the ice cream truck in LA, particularly south LA and central LA is common and has been around since 2015 as I can remember
the ice cream truck one is so funny to me because that's absolutely normal where I live. xD like I didn't realize that wasn't a national thing? ALL the trucks here do that, they play that little jingle, say "hello!" and keep going. but hearing that in an area where there's no truck is... spooky lol
Same.
The sound carries super far, especially in an otherwise quiet area. I can hear the trucks where I live about an hour before they actually make it to MY neighborhood.
Ice cream trucks scare me in general cuz i don’t think I’ve never gotten something from one and only saw one once lol

THE ICE CREAM TRUCK THING JUST HAPPENED TO ME THIS WEEKEND IN DALLAS AND IVE NEVER HEARD IT BEFORE AND COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHERE IT WAS COMING FROM
I have an ice cream truck that was made out of an old van that comes through my neighborhood playing that exact music. It's the most thrown together looking thing... the fact that it's coming from the woods is definitely strange
The Netflix thing is pretty normal! When a show is coming for a set year they’ll put the title out without a trailer or cover or anything. A show I’ve been waiting for called “Kaos” is the same way
There are a few others too
No it’s not
I’m sorry, but I have religiously watched Netflix for the past 15 years of my life and I’ve never seen this before. When a show is getting ready to come out they start coming out with clips and trailers and information on the plot. There is none of that here just very short ominous statements. I found another one the other day that said “don’t look up”. I think there’s hacking involved. Or some weirdo Netflix employee trying scare people.
Alyssa June I mean same? And like I said, there’s literally a show I’m waiting for to come and for the past year all it has is a grey screen with a title. No clips, no trailers, no plot. Nothing. Same thing happened with shadow and bone well before any trailers or clips came out. You just have to know the title of the show to look it up on Netflix to find the little grey title card 🤷♀️
Hey loey, I haven't been doing well with my grandma and uncle passing away last month and depression hitting me like a bus, I've been having trouble being happy mostly because of family death and toxic friend flashbacks, this year is a wild year for me so far

Sending you virtual hugs and as much positive energy i can.
Sending love and positive vibes your way ❣️❣️

I just wanted to say I’ve been there. My aunt, uncle, and my grandma passed in one year (my parents had already passed). I do not wish that on anyone and I’m so sorry you are going through that! But congrats, you are almost half way through this year, and the things DO get better. People always said that and I thought it’s wasn’t true but if I could go back to my younger self and tell myself anything, it’s that things are going to get better. ♥️ much love!
I also never heard the “Hello” truck until 2020. But when I moved to my first apartment, the weirdest icecream truck would appear playing this song. It’s so strange because it would even be “serving icecream” in the rain!
In my town, there's sometimes an ice cream truck that can be heard and seen late at night... I personally have never seen it but I've definitely heard it. Apparently the local authorities know about it but nothing has come from it yet. Super creepy. 😱 Also, yes I would love to see the tour of your haunted road trip!!
Oh, that clip of the light going on and off in the hallway is so creepy! Especially when they said there is no-one else in the house at that time and then the door opened by itself. My first thought if I witnessed the lights going on and off would be, did someone break in rather than a ghost is haunting me, but once that door opened by itself, that is creepy.
That video of that guy going into the basement and then hearing that woman saying, "He is coming!" sounds like it could be a ghost re-living abuse from her past especially with the way that door slammed with force. Just my thoughts. I wonder if that guy will post more updates on paranormal activity in his house.
The little "hello" in the song from the ice cream truck is normal, whenever a shaved ice/ ice cream truck drives by my house. It was pretty scary at first because I didn't know where it was coming from but then I saw it was a truck and I just got used to it
The ons that you said freaked you out scared me so bad I just gotta hope that it’s a ARG. Both of them. The basement spookiness and the girl in her bedroom it’s so scary help lol
i love the contrast between your energy and the videos
The "Hello" is absolutely normal for me! But the fact it's in the woods is weird.
The “hello” is normal for an ice cream truck music.
Oh my goodness I haven’t watched one of your videos in like a year. I myself have run into a few paranormal things myself and it’s fun to hear you among with other people’s experiences as well! 🙂

17:32 , if the “woman” said “he’s coming” and it’s a ghost , then wouldn’t the man be one to? After she said that , the door closed. Would that represent a man coming down the stairs and closing the door behind him?

The "Hello!" is totally normal where I live! It was actually super comforting to hear that Hello in the tiktok, feels like I haven't heard that ice cream truck song in a long while. I've only been hearing one playing the super mario theme song hahah
Hi Loey! Unfortunately not doing too good. Went to my cousin's funeral this weekend and somebody there gave me strep throat. :( so I've been coughing hard and wheezing for 3 days. I got antibiotics though!
Also the icecream truck thing is not normal in my area. Never heard one do anything other than play music and there haven't been ice cream trucks in my area for over a decade.
@Navila Thank you! Hope you're doing well.
I am so sorry for your loss. I hope your strep throat gets better! Have a great day/night :)
@@rebeccas5530 Thank you! Stay safe.
2:00 Hearing how Loey said "Smörgåsbord" was hilarious 😂
Ok can we just talk about how gorgeous she is with dark hair and how gorgeous she is in general
No I have yet to see an ice cream truck since 2019 and none of them broke the music up with a hello
Omg YES I’m so happy you’re doing a podcast!!!!!! I love you!!!

There’s actually a dark mass ( humanoid-like figure in a white mask with a pure black body? ) that you can see if you look close enough to the left. Before he gets down there it actually takes a step to the left and disappears.
Yeah the worst part is it moves so fucking organically wtf is thaaat ugh
I can’t see it. You’re not thinking of his own shadow? It’s damn creepy though. Damn scary.
@@DeidreL9 nah because it moves behind the wall while he’s still standing there so it cant be his shadow
Girlll. 😍This is my first video watching of yours and within the first 2 mins I subscribed. Your gorgeous and ur vibe is amazing . Keep up what ur doing love.. I love it 🥰😁
You really help me with depression watching your videos makes my day ❤️
From KY here, the Ice cream truck has always said things like " hello" or " hey kids" or " who wants ice cream " or things in the like
I feel like the theater person should do research on that theatre. It may be a really old one and there may have been a lot of accidents there
yesh
yeah*
I have been looking for your videos since I got your recommendation for your pod cast 😆 now I can watch this at work ❤❤❤
That intro was adorable
"You want a pretzel?"
So cute 🤗
Girl… can we talk about how STUNNING your whole look is in this video?! Your makeup and hair are beautiful!! Love the more natural look, wanna see more of it!! Keep killing it!!
Ur literally an angel loey, by just being urself don't ever be insecure about you or your body, u are✨RARE✨and we all need more people like you⭐
the theater one i can think of a lot of ways to stage those lol puns intended but the clip around 13:30 gave me the chills!!!!! omg goosebumps all over, like what can you even do at that point
you are adorable. also the music from the ice cream truck is exactly the same one that the ice cream truck plays every time it comes to my neighborhood
Okay the ice cream truck one I don’t ever hear “hello” lol but I’m literally terrified of ice cream trucks. Idk why but when I hear their music or see them I run and cover my ears and want to cry. It’s so weird and my friends think I’m weird when we see them but yeah I realized I was scared of ice cream trucks a few years ago when one started going around my neighborhood during the summer. Also, this same ice cream truck is old and kinda creepy, but I’m not judging. The only valid reason I have to be scared of this truck is because one night when I was trying to go to sleep at exactly 9:00 (I remember looking at my clock) I heard it’s music going down the street. Like whyyyyyyyyyy nooooooo
im not afraid of ice cream trucks on their own but if you hear an ice cream truck in the middle of nowhere most may be relieved at someone else being nearby but I would nope the fuck out of there
Live in socal and also experience this ice cream truck here. Bonus: have an off brand truck that blares vintage piano music that sounds perfect for war flashbacks
The Netflix thing has to do with coding, a placeholder to see the layout etc
Awesome video and definitely want to see your road trip video!
I like how these videos made me not be able to sleep last night but as soon as I wake up I’m like ok time to watch again HAHAHAH
For the Netlix one, I've seen posters that look like that. Sometimes they'll list a show that doesn't have an official trailer or poster yet, so it'll have a placeholder poster with the title of the movie or show that looks exactly like those ones.
*Sitting alone in my cottage in the woods and hearing icecream truck* No Thank You, I'm Lactose Intolerant.
The ice cream truck in my neighborhood sounds exactly like that. It says “Hello” too. Nothing paranormal just ceeepy hahaha
I’m currently in the psych ward and your videos have made being here so much easier
Psychiatric hospitals don't allow internet access or cell phones?
They may have visitors bringing a phone in and watching videos. Madds B I hope you’re doing alright now :)
