Genuinely the cars being buried to help ground stability is a common thing. I know it sounds insane but like it's really prevalent around river beds and things because you can find them a lot in geological sampling lol

    • @raenabush3926
      @raenabush3926 Рік тому +99

I and my rural knowledge can second this. And my Gramps, the geologist, does too! If you’ve got to stabilize some earth and have an old, beat up, truck that isn’t worth fixing up (car/is only worth 300 but the repairs to get it runnin’ are 1500) may as well use it for something! The old metal ones are sturdy, big, and too much a pain to drag to the scrap yard. So into the dirt they go!

@@trcsunny2187 in case of the lake I lived by it could be a pain because when it finally eroded enough you would get your fishing line caught. They recently did a full drain and rebuild and restock of the lake. It was cool to see random car bits sticking out before they got covered back up. I know a lot of places will also use them as an artificial reef until actual reef and plant life can grow over them and make a new environment.

I see! I would still definitely check out the car personally, since in an area where that's common that's an even BETTER way to dispose of something, but glad to know it's probably innocent.

That video of the woman having the spiritbox session with the teenage ghost seems pretty realistic because that is how a teen who died in the 2000s would act. The way it said "pretty chill" and all that. I don't know if anyone else notices with these spiritbox sessions, but do you notice how the spirit voices tend to change depending on what era they died in? Like spirits who died in the 1940s sound different from spirits who died in the 1980s and spirits sound different who died in the 2000s? The evidence of the spiritboxes also show through the language the spirits use. I'm waiting for a spirit of someone who died in the 1980s to say gnarly.

We once had a man shoot himself in our backyard of our old house in the 1980s and one time, I was watching my dad in the basement fixing the dryer, and on the wall there was a shadow of this really tall person wearing a baseball cap just... Standing there. Like legit didn't move an inch. My mom then mentioned later on that my parents kinda knew him and that he sometimes wore a baseball cap or caps. I don't know if my dad saw or even could see it It was kinda freaky.

A personal story in correlation with the man singing, and the ghost observing:
My sister and I both get 'visited' by spirits, though, she gets them far more frequently than I do. She's said that she's had a couple of bad encounters, but nothing particularly evil, just antagonistic. I, on the other hand, have thankfully never had anything remotely negative happen to me, in that realm. The house I live in, and have lived in for the past decade, has an 'inhabitant.' An old man who sits at our kitchen table in the early morning hours. I've never seen him, except for at oblique angles, so never head-on. From what I can tell, he's my grandpa, my dad's dad, who'd passed on in 2006. He was a big man (6'3", probably 240 pounds), and this personage fills that space, for sure. Now, not too get too personal, but my dad is no longer in the picture, and my mom remarried. (I still live with them, as I'm disabled and a touch agoraphobic.) Whenever I see 'him," I never get scared or hesitant. I just feel the sense of comfort, which is why I feel like it's my grandpa. He always liked my mom more than my dad-his own son-and so I feel like he's just watching over us and making sure we're finally safe now.
Sorry if this doesn't belong here, I just have been thinking about the implications of this for a while now and needed to get that off my chest. I feel like there ARE just entities that are here to observe us, nothing more.

While the videos at 30ish mins are really creepy, I feel like its honestly just *really* good video editing.
If you watch the video with the cupboard closely, you can see a little shift in the camera focus just before he opens it, and just again before he moves back in.
That could potentially be interference? But it really just looks like skilled video editing. And the sound bits of laughter and stuff are just that, they're sound bits. Its not coming through the recording but rather feels like it was added in post. You can hear his breathing and shuffling and those sounds are a bit scratchy and low quality but the laughter/crying is clear as day.

The rods being used to "talk to spirits" can be easily explained. If the person using them truly believes that they will move they will, simply because the person holding them is subconsciously moving them. Doesn't necessarily mean they are faking it, but it's not paranormal. The Mind is a powerful thing.
Same thing goes for ouija boards - you expect something to happen therefore you subconsciously make it happen yourself.

I was at a friend's house on the couch in his livingroom. The hall was to my right (pretty short). At the end of the hall on the right was his bedroom, then the kitchen is about a foot beyond.
He warned me he sometimes sleep walks and NOT to wake him if he does...just gently tell him to go back to bed. As I was 8 months pregnant and he was about 6'5" 260lbs...I took his advice to heart.
A few nights into my visit around 11pm or midnight I start to hear the dinner plates, forks & knives rattling around in the sink. He's a neat freak, and because there were no lights on, I assumed he was doing the dishes in his sleep...lol
I got up and slowly waddled my butt down the hall towards the kitchen to try and get him back to bed without getting stabby stabbed. As I said, his room is just a step before the pitch black kitchen...and the sink is just out of sight to the right against the wall.
I happened to look over as I'm listening to the ridiculously loud clattering of dishes and silverware, and there's my friend...in bed...sound asleep. 😳
I was NOT looking around the corner...I wanted to keep my eyes and the knives were still clattering in the sink, so instead I cleared my throat kind of loudly and everything dropped into the sink and the noise stopped immediately.
I slowly walked backwards down the hall, climbed back on to the big cushy couch and pulled the blankets over my head.
I told my friend about the next day and that ridiculously deep sleeper (apparently) never heard a thing.

He’s a very friendly ghost he’s almost guided me through difficult times. He’s followed me through each time I’ve moved from one house to another. I’ve heard him say something like right in my ear, one time when I was sad during Covid I heard him say “it’s ok”, recently he opened my closet door and it scared me, later I heard him say “sorry”. I've camped in the Appalachians before and I have a story. I was laying in the tent at night worried about a bear because the camp rangers had just told us they were hunting for a bear so be sure to pack up all our food. It was around 2 in the morning and I heard a ton of rustling next to our tent and soft talking, so I looked out the crack in the tent between the storm cover and canvas of the tent, and saw people setting up a tent next to us. I could see that their tent was orange and green and they had a flashlight hanging from the ceiling, their black truck was parked next to their site. I saw two silhouettes and I assumed someone had come late at night and was setting up a campsite and I laid back down. In the early morning, we got up and I looked over to see an empty campsite, which I thought was strange with them getting there so late. I asked my parents who had gotten up first if the people next to us had left and they said there were no people next to us. I went over to the site and saw the ground was completely undisturbed, no marks from a tent or tent spikes(which I had heard them pounding in), no tire marks from their tent, and ticket saying the site was taken which usually people leave for the rangers to clear off once they're gone.

Whenever I watch these kinds of videos I always think "it would be pretty interesting if something like that happened to me" but occasionally, not that often though, I do remember something.
When I was maybe 2-4, we got a dog, Jack. He died when I was around 8 or 9. I never really cared for him that much cause 1. I hadn't really understood that kind of thing yet and 2. He always barked whenever I watched TV (I specifically remember him barking while I watched powerpuff girls lol). My mom saw he wasn't doing that well, and while she was at work, she got worried and left during lunch, and he was dead. She buried him in the backyard, next to a tree.
Sometime after that I remember seeing what I thought was a dog turning around a corner, and that happened a couple of times. My immediate thought was Maddie, my great grandmas dog (my great grandma lived with my grandparents when she got too old to fully care for herself and her other daughter that she was living with died, so she moved in with her dog. My grandparents also had a dog, but she died the same year as Jack. Maddie became the main dog of our family group in the area) and I always thought it was her. I told my mom a few times "I think I saw Maddie earlier" or something like that. Around maybe a year or two later, it completely stopped. I definitely remember one time, I can almost remember another, and maybe a couple others that I can't exactly remember again. But the two I remember seeing the most were close to each other in time, and soon after Jack died. The last couple times I remembered this are making me think it was Jack.
I also have another story (long story short: childhood best friend sees ghosts, and claims to see what we think is one of my old imaginary friends that I made go away. I could go into more detail later)
TLDR: pretty sure I saw the ghost of my dead dog we buried in our backyard

When you showed the segment about Chad it reminded me of a story I once heard about a group of very dedicated people who would routinely gather. At first they invented a very complete, but totally fictitious backstory for their "ghost" and then would hold regular seances for years to communicate with him and eventually they did. At least according to the story. It makes me wonder why there isn't more research into these sorts of manifestations. I mean, if it is actually a factual story, isn't it just all too powerful to simply ignore? But there's one question you have to ask yourselves, and that is, were these "ghosts" actually created by wishful thinking, or did these people unwittingly invite something else to just eagerly step into that role?

Joey I've been watching your content since I was like 15 and I'm 21 now, you have desensitized me to most creeps 😂😂😂 but the chills down the spine happen everytime!

16:04 really haunted is amazing! i keep up with their videos daily! poor guy tho...they have quite the demon or poltergeist on them. it even falled him out when he slept in his backyard in a carvan. it has messed with his wife and pulled her out of bed before!

Loey PLEASE do an in-depth video on the Spanish/Portuguese story. I saw these a while back and it got to me. Normally I take all the creepy stuff with a grain of salt but those stuck with me!

omg I just found you today and love you already! I love paranormal stuff like this! Just kinda wish you’d do replays of the videos 🥹 sometimes I’m cleaning or working and will be listening and sometimes I miss it and when I hear replay is when I usually know to look 😭
