Your review is outstanding. I've watched many overviews & reviews but I learned more about the game from you than any others. Very well thought out commentary. Thank you for doing that! I don't have the game as yet and I'm very impressed with the graphics, the superb writing, voice acting and artistry with the cut-scenes. I really want this game as I love that time period in a game which does not happen often.
Dontnod are famous for its AA games: they are quite interesting, diverse and unusual. I like that with every project the devs experiment with setting and genre though not all of their games are getting enough attention and recognition. Banishers looks promising and exciting 😊
I really like the setting and while I’ve heard some negatives about the combat it looks good to me , I hope you keep making reviews like this and I really enjoyed it!
Setting and world are really cool. Have a vrounded type of feeling, which really helps me with personally to get immersed. Combat is fine. Its not mind boggeling, but it works well. Thanks for the kind words Saucy, even though game reviews aren't the channels bread and butter, ill definitely try and give my thoughts whenever possible. Good luck in the draw!!!
As with all new releases I try to stay away from spoilers, but from what I saw in the trailers, the story is very captivating and interesting. The spiritual premise like in the Kena: Bridge of Spirits interests me a lot. Thank you for the video.
You definitely dont want the main story or haunting investigations spoiled. This REALLY is where Banishers does it best, and in the same conversation as the big AAA titles.
The game looks very interesting and I’m pretty sure it might very well turn out to be a GotY contender. I love an absorbing story in a game and Banishers will definitely deliver in this regard. However, the most important aspect for me is the gameplay itself and from what I saw this game looks utterly impressive.
I liked the gameplay (combat, exploration, rpg mechanics etc.)... but the Story and Side Quests (Haunting Investigations) were by far the standouts here.

I had the same expectations coming in... And in my opinion, this is a wonderful 2nd go at the ARPG genre for them.

They have patched it, but the footage capture is using the review build (pre day 1 patch)
