I loved this song so much when listened to it in the album. It reminds me of a robotic character I have for a story I want to write. It's about a robotic canine and a test subject working to escape a testing facility. Synergy (the robotic canine) starts to feel emotion after working on experiments with Apollo (the test subject), feeling that what he's putting Apollo through isn't right that the people who created him are horrid. He develops more feelings while trying his hardest to get Apollo, and later on himself, free from the place, all while questioning himself about what happened to him, and why he was the way he was.
I'm surprised by this new album, completely different than others in the past. The amount of electro / EDM music is much less notable in this album than in ANY other, and the songs here are immediately memorable. Not only that, but they all invoke different, powerful feelings!
It's odd, the singing isn't the best but the way the singer is putting himself out makes it feel more real. Like you can hear him pouring his heart into the song, and it makes it more special and less generic.
If there's a way to get by with just enough in life, it's through knowing that one is unable sometimes... Then realizing that it's not always up to us. You are enough. The Lord makes the rest possible.
