Also I think I heard you mention about buying off the plan! Is your house in an estate, and did you have to pay a certain amount to secure the property. The land is on a pineapple field there are 17 houses. But laid out we could spice between the houses that’s including the land the house the swimming pool the jacuzzi we paid in six payments we owe on the last payment which is the final one which is for the house and the signing of the documents at the land registry office I haven’t been in business for many years I had a good gut instinct about the builder he has kept us informed every step of the way and has explained everything needs to be my wife is Thil i’m happy with everything which has been done there’s no such thing as a perfect house but it’s as perfect we are due to move in sometime in May. But we have saved a lot of money by buying of plane very satisfied with the work the builder has done this isn’t my first house I have purchased in Thailan you do have to go by your good old gut instincts thanks Giza

Freddie, First mistake you made. You should have bought a Toyota Hilux Double Cab diesel for the same price as that Toyota Vios but much more useful living where you are. You will agree in a couple of years time.

My name is on the registry documents with the land registry and of course you’re right that being my name is on the registry the house cannot be sold The house was built off plane which is a whole different ball game 👍😂
real issue is land ownership in a westerners name legally is very difficult. if you are happy to buiild but put title in thai partner's name that is easier. or buying a condo in many complexes but not a house with land.
