Quite few years ago, when I was still a kid, I was with my Dad on his 100cc commuter bike, and we had to stop behind a Royal Enfield Bullet 500 or something, I'm not sure. That person must've definitely changed the exhaust, since it sounded similar to this and was painful to the ears for those behind the bike! I still love cruisers, but gosh, I won't modify one that'd make people bleed from their ears!

To the Harley/motor professionals, is it possible to make my Forty-Eight sound like this? The V&H shortshots are compatible with the 48 but I'm not sure if the Fuelpak 3 is compatible with the 48 which makes this bike sound the way it is. Thank you for any future replies
Probably idling around 500 is my best guess. It shouldn't hurt the engine to idle down there since the oil pressure should still be enough to reach everything and maintain the bearing lubrication, these are technically fluidic bearings after all since they ride on a cushion of oil pressure, but a higher displacement oil pump should be able to meet the demands, especially since they upgraded the exhaust and ECU to make more power and lower backpressure to idle lower with a custom IAC, the Idle Air Controller.
looking to buy this big gun here in Australia, but thanks to corona HARLEY discontiued many of their models because of low demand... might have to look for a used one

I have a 2015 & 2016 and after they are warmed up they idle about 1060rpm.
