At the same time the second hand market for digicams is booming nonetheless. If they had released a new IXUS camera in flashy zoomer colors then they would have cashed in bigtime, but no. V10 it is.

@@cameraconspiracies Canon loves to cripple the dynamic range in video (those blown out highlights with less dynamic range than your 10 year old MFT cameras) unless it's a "cinema" camera (whatever that is). Hi from the UK. Here the Canon V10 advanced kit with all the goodies is on sale at £339. At that price I couldn't say no. It's not perfect but it gets the job done. As debunked for 20 years now, pretty tiresome subject really. If you want the ultimate lens with character, look no further than Helios 58mm, not gonna lie, I enjoy using it way too much.
You are kill'n me.....All I want is the perfect Camera! ....on a budget! ....on a sony ZVE1! Are you sure you didn't just get a bad used adapter???? Ugh.
You should have bought your Voightlander 21mm f1.4 in Leica M-mount, and then acquired a "Leica M to Sony E mount Auto Focusing adapter", and then you could have had the cinema, maybe, possibly, probably not because it hunts in video mode, maybe, don't quote me on that, it probably doesn't work in video, maybe half of the time it works in video.
3D pop is primarily caused by Chromatic aberrations, its the stereoscopic effect down a single lens. Just like a 3D movie requires a person to wear glasses with a red and blue lens, when red and blue are combined down a single lens its purple. Its the deliberate misalignment of the light hitting the sensor or film at different times to create a sense of depth, or dimensionality. Lenses with lots and lots of chromatic aberrations produce the best 3D effect. Look at that Camera Mystique video where he showed off his cheap Canon kit zoom lens that had a ton of CA's and more 3D pop than his more expensive lenses, yet he'll argue about field curvature being responsible. The freaking LENS DESIGNERS say it that CA's make the 3D effect. The video game makers and CGI guys CONSULTED with lens designers about all the different lens aberrations that make movies more cinematic, like CA's for the 3D effect, and lens flares, and lens bloom. Extra low dispersion glass means that the light hits the sensor or film at the same time. Here, go look at the wikipedia page for Chromatic Aberrations and click on the picture of the building where the top image is clearer and the bottom image of the same building is full of CA's - now squint your eyes at that image, and the good clear and nice image on top looks flat and 2D while the lower bad ugly image has depth. Here's the link to the image: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Chromatic_aberration_(comparison).jpg Kasey, stop sending people over to Camera Mystique and Dirty Lens Club because those old guys don't want youtuber douchebags like us asking them stuff in the comment sections - their cups are full, and maybe even overflowing. They think that they're the experts, and that they know photography so much so they're imagining that they're somewhere equal to an Engineer who studied optical design at university. You criticize Nikon, and both of those guys basically hate you, because they hold Nikon to be up there somewhere with Leica, when anyone comparing Nikon gear with Leica or Canon gear with Leica. Thats why they prefer to buy Voightlander lenses for their Nikon cameras and tell you that Sony is just an electronics company that was hopeless and had to get Zeiss to make lenses for them, because Sony is a loser company. They're insane. All Nikon and Canon shooters are insane. You're getting there too Kasey.
I started my channel with a cell phone and an old, beat up GoPro. No lights, used window light. Looking back, they look like hell. However, the content was enough to get me some subs and those videos are still pulling significant (for me) views three years later.
I knew a guy who wasn't a photographer, but he was a steward. He got tired of people thinking or treating him as though he were gay. The guy shredded hard on a surfboard. He was funny. I am going to try the 4K for the first time on my RP for my next video. I have an EOS 50mm Tony 1.4 that I have to manually focus because the damned autofocus doesn't work half the time and is too noisy for my shotgun mic. Why did I reply to this?
As a new content creator, I am enjoying your content 😅😅 but I do have a question on a budget setup. With video first, lumix g7, g85, gh4, or gh5. Then for pictures, olympus e-m1 gen1. Then my lens would interchange.... mainly for side gigs. A little bit of website design, business commercials, maybe future photo shoots, maybe future UA-cam
Got the R3 you don't want to shoot 240p with that it is very bad, sad you don't like old EF non L, find the first 10 years of ef primes very sweet ( 1986-1996) and also very cheap, best adapters are sigma ones for af aperture is not smooth but workable, sad they just do E mount and L mount but it can worth it for the ZVE-1 sad for the good stab performance you should get a panasonic s5II/X it works in any mode like a charm, but af still best on canon when cameras are not bored making af maybe it will be better on the R5II

Here's the link to the image:

Kasey, stop sending people over to Camera Mystique and Dirty Lens Club because those old guys don't want youtuber douchebags like us asking them stuff in the comment sections - their cups are full, and maybe even overflowing.
I thought 3d pop was just dark blurry backgrounds contrasted by a bright focus but maybe distortions enhance it as well
I started my channel with a cell phone and an old, beat up GoPro. No lights, used window light. Looking back, they look like hell. However, the content was enough to get me some subs and those videos are still pulling significant (for me) views three years later.
0:27 WTF is going on? 0:32 fixed. What on Earth is going on with that thing?
Yeah, like a LUT was randomly applied for a few seconds.
Lens flare.
I've just learnt about the 3D pop on the Zeiss Otus EF and Milvus, have you ever tried them?
I knew a guy who wasn't a photographer, but he was a steward. He got tired of people thinking or treating him as though he were gay. The guy shredded hard on a surfboard. He was funny. I am going to try the 4K for the first time on my RP for my next video. I have an EOS 50mm Tony 1.4 that I have to manually focus because the damned autofocus doesn't work half the time and is too noisy for my shotgun mic. Why did I reply to this?
OLD angry photographer vidoes....old ones...
Have you tried the Metabones adapter from EF to Sony FE. It's not perfect, but I'm happy with it. Some rental houses have them.
I heard that Brewer's yeast tablets help with acne, if the Canadian pharmacy doesn't have them, then ask in a Russian pharmacy.
To use your EF glass on Nikon, look at this article by Ken Rockwell, "Fringer EF-NZ
Canon EF to Nikon Z AF & IS Adapter"
Have you used either the FotodioX or Techart lens adapters? If so, are they any better than the Megadap?
😮
what microphone are you using outside?
Decisions are easy for me. I have 15 Canon lenses. I don't even look at other options. I'll just get another Canon! It's crazy.
I click the link and it shows me a sony zv 1f camera?
Day 67 of asking you to try the A6700 the king of APSC with automatic 3D pop
ZVE10 & Viltrox 13mm 1.4
Did you again, just recommend a sigma lens? Did you hit your head?
I’m drunker then all of you
