Jax sings like an Angel coming down from heaven! And I love how all the characters were in this but Jax is my personal favorite and I wish I was Pomni right now doing pranks with Jax it could be like a date for me and him if I was there
The ending with Jax really got me, the fact that he has to keep on witnessing his friends abstracting is so sad. Michael’s voice acting is incredible and sounds so emotional, he never disappoints and one of my favorite voice actors.
And the fact that he actually cares about them and does his pranks to numb his pain and save them from abstraction is something else., I can relate to him so much . Letting someone go is hard especially someone very important to you. This Jax maybe a jerk prankster but he is not a full blown abusive asshole. Yes it's not canon but this Jax will always be my fave take on him
The fact this was voiced by the actual TADC cast almost makes it feel like it feel canon. This will probably be the only moment so far we get to hear Jax sound sad and genuine for once. And i love itt
My favorite Michael Kovach song is the one where his character sings an upbeat sounding song with an ending that reveals the character actually is putting up a mask to hide his true feelings
I also love how a prank from beyond the grave-ish from Kaufmo keeps Jax from spiraling, like how Jax pranks the others to distract himself and keep _them_ from spiraling! The fact that his own methods work on himself is proof they really work, I guess? 😅 Either way it's another example of great storytelling! Really ties everything together perfectly!
The line at the end that goes “think of the funny things that could happen to you and everybody else in the entire crew” was obviously a statement to abstraction, but at the start he was talking about pranks and it was upbeat and funny, REALLY GREAT STORY TELLINGGGG

That makes the Kaufmo note a lot more wholesome. Somehow, Kaufmo managed to place that banana peel to distract Jax long enough to stop him from Abstracting.
I really wanna see this relationship happen in the real show. Not only could it cause Pomni to get used to her digital world and become real friends with the other cast members, but it could also give us more insight into Jax’s backstory and character, and maybe allow him to open up to everyone else. Gooseworx had said Jax is a horrible person, but she never said Jax didn’t have feelings towards others. Maybe trauma is why he’s so bad?
That and Caine apparently thinks it's entirely normal, considering in the pilot he talks about the lake as "a place for drowning yourself in". They don't _physically_ need air, he knows it, he knows they know it, but he doesn't understand that their minds still _expect_ air and "throw segmentation faults" if they perceive themselves as unable to breathe...
Let's be honest, that ending was heartbreaking. Seeing Jax trying to cope with the other cast members disappearance is really sad. This is incredibly well made and i want to congratulate the entire crew on this one! I shall play it on repeat!
This would honestly feel like what would happen after episode four. Jax and Pomni’s friendship would start to grow and Jax would actually start helping the other characters, but in his own way of course.

I kinda love the idea that while Jax loves to torture the crew, it also comes from a good place. Also that scene in the ends of Jax looking at past photos of the members and freaking out when he realizes he’ll never see those photos again was AMAZING

Oh man I genuinely love this song so much with Jax corrupting Pomni and trying to help her see the brighter side of things in the circus and it really pulled at my heart near the end when Jax gets all emotional about Kaufmo and the others. This was an absolute delight. Also the raggedy Ann and andy reference at 3:43 genuinely had me making monkey noises, flailing my hands around, and spinning around the room for like 2 minutes I’m not even kidding.
My heart melted seeing that jax wasn't a total asshole to Pomni and was explaining a bit more on why he behaves, showing her his tricks, and being able to see his true emotions of being sad over the extracted memebers.

It's such a cool concept to have him genuinely care about everyone, and use the pranks to both help and annoy people, sort of like an annoying sibling. The thing with him looking through the pictures is also really fun and a cool concept.
This duo actually make sense because if you search the definition of jester in Ancient Greek , it’s says it used to makes people laugh by it’s smartness or pranks .
I was having so much fun at the beginning of the song. It was so lighthearted and fun. They literally threw in a tap section, nothing ever goes wrong in a song with a tap section. And then we go from happy and mischievous song, to just sheer digital existential dread over seeing everyone you have grown to know and somewhat love leave you and it potentially being your fault. RecD, you didn't have to break my heart like that man!
One of my favorite details about this video is the change in portraits. The farther in time you go, the happier and closer everyone sees to be. It also brings up a very important question in mind: Why bother to befriend anyone when they’ll eventually go? Props to the animators and voice actors involved in the song, especially Lizzie and Michael!

I swear that Michael Kovach is everywhere in my brain and I'm still standing here because of his singing voice! And Michael is the best! And he gave Jax more emotion that we have to figure out the most
This was a rollercoaster of feels all around! I like that the last card in Jax's hand has Kaufmo, and the wheel was from Runmo's gameshow! And Michael definitely portrayed the secret side of Jax we all knew he had in a way that helps us understand his thinking, and how he felt about Kaufmo.

I love the fact that RecD somehow managed to get the actual voice actors for this video. Also, I really love the idea of Jax in one episode making friends with Pomni and showing her his cool pranks and how he copes with being stuck in the circus. That’d be cool. Whether this turns out to be canonical or not, this was a great video that gave us some insight into the psychology behind some of Jax antics, as well as his previous connection to Kaufmo (who probably helped Jax when he first appeared in TADC).

Oh man I genuinely love this song so much with Jax corrupting Pomni and trying to help her see the brighter side of things in the circus and it really pulled at my heart near the end when Jax gets all emotional about Kaufmo and the others. This was an absolute delight.
Also the raggedy Ann and andy reference at 3:43 genuinely had me making monkey noises, flailing my hands around, and spinning around the room for like 2 minutes I’m not even kidding.

okay nice...love it. Great job. I love the take on Jax's character. It's such a cool concept to have him genuinely care about everyone, and use the pranks to both help and annoy people, sort of like an annoying sibling. The thing with him looking through the pictures is also really fun and a cool concept.
This duo actually make sense because if you search the definition of jester in Ancient Greek , it’s says it used to makes people laugh by it’s smartness or pranks .

I was having so much fun at the beginning of the song. It was so lighthearted and fun. They literally threw in a tap section, nothing ever goes wrong in a song with a tap section. And then we go from happy and mischievous song, to just sheer digital existential dread over seeing everyone you have grown to know and somewhat love leave you and it potentially being your fault. RecD, you didn't have to break my heart like that man!
One of my favorite details about this video is the change in portraits. The farther in time you go, the happier and closer everyone sees to be. It also brings up a very important question in mind: Why bother to befriend anyone when they’ll eventually go? Props to the animators and voice actors involved in the song, especially Lizzie and Michael!

Whether this turns out to be canonical or not, this was a great video that gave us some insight into the psychology behind some of Jax antics, as well as his previous connection to Kaufmo (who probably helped Jax when he first appeared in TADC).
This is definitely not canon. Cause here Jax is not a full blown asshole more like a jerk prankster with way more philosophy behind his actions. He was quite nice towards Pomni though pranking her.
