I've known Troy for 20 plus years when he work at Ray Miller race cars then I think he worked for mark Garland in a short time with Bruce but he's always been a genius he's probably forgotten more than most will ever know LOL
That was one of the most unpretentious vids on car building I’ve watched. When every piece of a hotrod has this kind of detail in it you can see why the real car guys come and watch what you guys do. Thanks for the vid
This guy is the real deal very down to earth always makes time to talk to you met him an his wife an kid in Rockingham last year talk to him for a good 10 or fifteen minutes had some laughs about Justin thanks brother be safe. 🙏
Nothing but perfection and beauty comes out of CJRC. They don’t believe in “it’s just a race car” or “it’s a tool”. They put out some of the fastest show cars at the track.
Wondering with doing the Ti firewall... Is there any rules specific to wall thickness? Also with it having to be bolted in and not welded, how to you end up sealing it to make sure the engine bay is separated? Super awesome to watch the process of the OGs handcrafting stuff!!!
The last of a dying breed. We need more master craftsman to teach the younger guys. The hardest part is finding ones who will actually take the time to listen & learn.
Boy , Troy is one patient , talented individual. A master of his craft.
Troy's a master at his craft. The type of guy who sets a great example for the next generation of fabricators.
You can tell Troy is a perfectionist, that's awesome someone that still takes pride in his work. 👍
Absolutely.

Great video!!!! People don't realize how much time and labor goes into building a quality race car/street car...
Very time consuming for sure.

.025”. As long as you fit them really well and don’t space the fasteners out to far they seal up really good

100 percent
Very nice work. What grade titanium is that? When I have tried bending Ti in a sheet metal break, nothing but cracks...
Man Troy makes bead rolling look super easy. Definitely not that easy for me at least. I know I’ve scraped a lot of panels I bead rolled.
He’s very talented for sure.
Wizard
More art work 💪
BAD ASS 💪✌️🇺🇸
Did troy used to work for pro fab? I swear I've seen that man building cages 10 years ago
Yeah he did.
craftsman
Are you not worried about the tubes moving after finish welding? It doesn't look like all of the finish welding is done.
A lot of the welding is done. Some has to be done off the jig.
Great shop. Although Troy one of few fabricators who can use his belly as a fab table.
What a craftsman Troy... not 101... more like 303...
Please raffle a date with Troy ❤
😂😂😂
When are you going to start on you know who's pro mod and I'm not talking about Justin's bigger than him?
Who 👀
Bigger than Justin? That's pretty big, but I see him losing big time weight this season so Go Justin! 👍
Cleetus ?
How is the panel attached to the bars?
6-32 screws
@@CJRaceCars oh ok im curious why there is not a tab welded on and then attached to tab instead of a hole in the actual bar
@@ericklos2463 we do it that way some times. Tabs add weight.
Does drilling the bars effect the overall strength? Is there any rule on how many holes can be drilled in a certain length of tubing?
Uomm.
Was he born attached to that chair?
He probably has back issues and this allows him to work his craft in a comfortable position.
Outstanding
