Brings tears to my eyes😭❤ this hits deep in my heart every time. The reason why it moves me so much its because of 2 men in my family lineage on my mothers-moms side from the british islands who both fought in WW2. One of them was a highly decorated fighter pilot in the RAF in the 103rd air raid squadron and the other a captain on a military passenger transport ship on one of the flagships of the cunard liners during WW2: THE SS.ATHENIA wich was torpedoed and sunk by a german submarine on its 7th voyage bringing injured, sick and dead soldiers home from the front lines and transporting new soldiers out to the western front. He managed to get everyone and himself off the ship before it went down. The fighterpilot from RAF was my great-grandfather And the ship captain his brother/my great-granduncle. Both of them survived the war. I never met them or knew them because they lived before my time but i feel very close to them and look up to them as rolemidels and heroes for me, they have come alive to me through their heroic storys passed on to me from my grandmother. So hearing this tune: il silenzio/military taps always brings me to tears and every time i hear this stand at attention and saluting my great-grandfather And great-granduncle and its like in my mind i can hear the 7 gun salute they do in military funerals for fallen heroea😭❤ RIP GREAT-GRANDFATHER ROBERT.B HENDERSON, AND GREAT-GRANDUNCLE JOHN DOUGLAS HENDERSON. 🕯🕊❤ YOU BOTH DID YOUR DUTY WELL, ("SEMPER FI, OORAH")❤🇬🇧🏴
