@@alkitzman9179 I agree with you. And so many of his demos are better and capture the quality of the song better - There is one particular demo take of STARTING OVER - there are a number of them, sounds like it was a home recording - but one really stands out with John on guitar, vocal with no echo and rhythm box that is outstanding and is far better then the master recording on the album - this is where feedback and input from Paul and George Martin was beneficial for John who tended to be lazy and rushed his recording and put all that echo on his voice - listen to John's vocal on HAPPINESS IS A WARM GUN - no echo and he sounds great -
What a list of musicians. Jesse Ed Davis, Voorman, Hopkins, Keltner, Keys, Jenkins, Burton, Madaio, Johnson...... Lennon. Are you sure about Elton John being lead vocal on this song? Elton John sang with Lennon on "Whatever Gets You Thru the Night".
His voice was just so perfect
This is a great take -- no echo on the voice - a lot of john's solo demos were better then the master recordings that were released on the albums
I could never understand why with a voice like his. He insisted on all that echo on the released songs. John just sounds so great on this version.

I love John's pure & honest beautiful voice.❤
Can't stop listening to this version and I feel bad only 2,191 people have clicked on this video!
I'm so glad you also liked it! When I noticed it was not on UA-cam, I hurried to upload it. I love it so much

Também fico triste em saber que tão poucas pessoas conhecem essa música, ela é tão linda e expressa o sentimento da forma mais pura.
@Master 🤦♂️🤢🤮
This version is better than the original
A really cool unknown song.I really like the walls and bridges lp.
sweet john....best sound
Incredible vocal sound. That’s Jimmy Iovine engineering.
Excellent version. I agree, no echo or other crap on his vocals, sounds much better with his regular voice. It’s not Elton John singing.
Wonderful song for Jhon Lennon 1974 .
That ending is beautiful
Simply love It.
Thanks for this!!

It's totally NOT Elton John on lead vocal - it's Lennon.
@@richardborden9018 Sure is (Lennon) huh!

JESSE ED DAVIS tocó la guitarra slide en este album?
Alaan Placencia si en la mayoria de lps discos de John
This is absolutely NOT Elton John on led vocals - it's Lennon.
Yes who stuffed up??.
Water is wet.
All John Lennon easy
There is no Elton John vocal or anything else by him on this on this song. Correct your info its irratating to Lennon's fans.
That looks like Harry Nilsson with the hat and sunglasses in the photo.
That is definitely Harry!
ken ascher tocaría nuevamente en HARD TIMES ARE OVER de Yoko Ono en 1980
please help reopen the record plant
Jimmy Iovine
100% not elton john on vocals
Great version though!
Is that Elvis Presley with John Lennon 😲
😂
I think the first voice is Elton John and Lennon comes in at 3.31
Nope, it’s all Lennon
No way, Pure John.
